Well this will be our first trip there too but I would say post some pictures of you so people can recognize you from the forum . Make some friends on here with people going the same time and read plenty on the forum to get an idea of the resort . Enjoy your adventure and post a trip report for us when you return.
Jan Scott are right you'll wish you booked longer but that just means your second trip will be that much sooner.
We will be arriving April 29th-May 5th...will be our first visit and we are definitely looking for an experience of a lifetime. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Get ready to meet some GREAT people! Some a little older, some a little younger, but it won't matter. You'll have a blast and if you're like most of us, you will be planning the next trip and shopping for new swimsuits (usually smaller) before you get home. By all means, if there is a Boobs Cruise, DO IT and dress for the theme nights as well. It just adds to the fun. Check a few peoples albums for ideas on costumes, and by looking at the albums you'll also get an idea of the swimwear you will see. It's nearly impossible to go too skimpy or daring on the swimwear at TTR, so take something (or several) you think you NEVER would wear in public because if you're like most of us you'll need it. We're looking at a trip during your dates also, so with any luck we'll see you there and we'll share a couple drinks!
And don't miss the late night burgers at the grill at Paty-O's. They taste great after a long night of partying.
Bubba Mugs are a must!!! You hand it right over to the bartender and they fill the cups up. We always bring lysol with us and spray in the vent as soon as we walk in (kills any bacteria). Take some dryer sheets and put it on the air return vent and it makes your room smell amazing. Don't pack too much we have made that mistake multiple times. Bathing suits and stuff for theme nights. If you want to go to a nice dinner slacks and a nice shirt for him. sunglasses hats and tip money. Avoid the sharks as soon as you check in they are going to give you the time share speech that takes like 3 hours when you could be in the pool. I promise the tequila they give you is not that good. Don't be afraid to talk to people everyone is very friendly and it is always nice to meet new people that you will see later at Pady'Os.
Vegas Vixen nailed it for you. That is near perfect advice for you. Just relax and have a good time, cause you will!!!
members of Cancuncare tend to wear the orange wristband so it is easier to eet people you meet on the forum before getting there. The alternatives are ahving a personalized T-shirt with your screen name which you put on the back of your lounge chair or have the name of your bubba mug! Enjoy TTR!
