Just got back Thurs. and talked to a couple who had booked the resort for two weeks and said they were bumped to Desire. I asked if they were pissed about it. They said they loved it there, and because of the two week time frame it gave them a diffrent experience. I just wondered if it was the length of stay that got them bumped.
We ran into 4 or 5 couples that this happened to. I believe their arrivals were thur, fri or Saturday and usually later in the day. I think last week it was more important that you didn't arrive too late because they were sold out every night and it felt like first come first serve. I agree w the post above that Saturday would naturally be the most likely day to get bumped so last thing you want is a late Saturday arrival during a busy week. And it sounds like the busy weeks are typically in feb, march and April but that is just a guess.
I cannot imagine arriving and gettingn bumped.....we would be EVIL.... oh lets put you in the Blue Bay Club with all the families whilst all your friends stay here and do rainbow shots..... oh god I feel faint at the thought!
Tell me about it, trying to figure out a way so that this doesn't happen, we are only there for 4 nights and can't imagine spending one of those nights at Blue Bay with squirt guns and kids, LOL, that is the whole point of this trip a break from our own 3 kids.
Been there three times before with never a problem, but now I'm worried about the possibility of being bumped as we arrive early afternoon on Saturday.
Thanks for the info and offer to share rooms...lol... We are arriving the 18th Apr at about noon, so should not be a problem getting the room we want( I think)..The first thing on my agenda will be Pool and a drink.....
That may just happen or a bed on the beach, I do NOT want to be at Blue Bay with Aunt Gertrude reading her novel and snot nosed kids runnin' around. LOL We want to be where the party is!!! Plus we arrive on Thursday, which is toy swap night...already have our gift to exchange and don't want to miss out!!!
I had to laugh at this one... I can see you at the front desk... "But I can't go to the Club! It Toy Swap night here and I have this double headed dildo that we brought and are hoping to exchange it for the new Rabbit model! You absolutely must let us stay.
