We had a jacuzzi room on our 2nd trip over by the quiet pool...after the first night we actually downgraded and went to our now favorite area...overlooking patyo's.
Thanks everyone! I guess we will just keep the room we already booked and spend the money on massages and Boobs Cruises
/Signed. We "used" it twice during our stay last Summer (2012) and that was even during a hurricane...
We have had a jaccuzzi room every time. Our last trip we had 9 people and two of us had juccuzizi rooms. We got caught in a little bit of a cold/rainy period and we would head to the juzzuzzi's every day and finish the party there. Not everyone fit in but sitting around the edge with your feet in drinking was great when it was raining. Plus if you are an early morning riser....like myself.....I'd often take a morning dip.
A lot of the reviews I read say the rooms are musty, have any of you thought they were musty? We have been booked and paid for for two months, just want to make sure we made the right choice of room
The rooms we've had have not but we've also vacationed quite a bit in tropical climates and are used to the high humidity and constant A/C smell I think. I know there is a very distinct smell to our clothes when we return, not a bad one but different than home. Some people have said to bring Fabreeze or Lysol and spray the bejeezus out of the A/C unit.
Only been once- spring 2013. It was not musty at all. My husband kept our room so flipping cold though that maybe that helped. Hoping room for Oct trip not musty either.
Some rooms we have had have seemed a little musty, but its a tropical climate... Not too much you can do. Next time we will probably bring a big can of lysol though and soak the AC vents often...
Yes they are musty and thank goodness. I've been there twice, been to Jamaica, Bahama's, Puerta Vaallarta and they all smell the same. It is the smell of the tropics and I love it. The key to the musty smell is all in your mind. When i get back to the states and I ever come up on a musty smell it reminds me of the tropics and brings a smile to my face.
