Yes, we have already talked about next year. Told my wife every month for the next year it would be the 12 days of Temptation, where she would get something for the next trip each month.
Addiction? I'm hoping for that! That's the way I felt about my 1st WBC & I'd go again in heartbeat. 27 trips later it's STILL THE MOST FUN I've had with most of my clothes on. I just think I'm due for something different.
I don't know that they made it past checking in. We arrived within about a minute of each other- which was late Sat eve. The check in is w/in view of Patty'o's when the doors open, and its also right by the walkway to the restroom. People were wearing their sexy stuff of course. There were about 10 of them wearing "We love our church" shirts. We thought it was a joke at first, but they literally looked like they were seeing the apacolypse. Overheard a bit of them asking the clerk what the deal was. How do you travel to another country to a resort and have no idea what type of resort it is? You just plop down $$$ and not know if it's a place like Temptation or a 5 star pristine beach resort? Strange. I joked with my wife that for people who believe in "Gods Will" I wondered what message they thought God was sending them with this challenge.
It does sound like a joke. But if it really wasn't then possibly their leader planned it to shock them and show them what sin looks like? Then follows with...Now please donate so we can better fight the heathens and show them the way to salvation!
Nice trip review! Very accurate. That is crazy about the church group though. I am also amazed that people can book and pay for something without fully checking it out. 20 years ago I can see how that could happen if a travel agent wasn't in the know or was trying to trick someone for whatever reason, but it is 2015 and there is this crazy thing called "the internet", making it very easy to do some research.
LOL! This was one of the most helpful, To-the-point, short TR's from a newbie I have ever read. Very well done and accurate. I would have def thought the church shirts were a joke. The name of the place alone should have swayed them. lol
