Happy to give you our insights. We love TTR but dream of Desire. The combo play is the move. TTR is foreplay and party centric. Desire is whatever you want it to be and still has a good party vibe. It’s a blast

we've done the combo trip.. 6 at TTR and 6 at Desire. We've also done a 7 day trip to just Desire and found we had a better time at Desire by not going to TTR first. But everyone is different. Splitting vacation might be ok for some if they are just doing a couple of days at TTR or if they don't party too hard at TTR. For us after a week at TTR, I wouldn't say it ruined our following 6 nights at Desire but we were tired for the first couple of days. We have a Desire trip coming up in November … 10 days, no TTR.

We just got back last Saturday. They've installed a barrier to keep the seaweed out, and it's doing it's job perfectly! However, it apparently doesn't work on crocodiles! We were in the water Saturday morning before we left when we saw one about 15 feet from us. Employees were trying to catch it as we were leaving....would love to know if anyone that was there knows if they were successful or not and how big the croc was!

Thanks I guess it keeps it from piling up on the beach by CeCes bar then? Wow we’ve only seen the crocs out front in that lagoon. Never on the beach side. Cool!
