We had room 1137 our first trip (1st floor quite pool side) and I wouldn’t consider it an ocean view but we could see and hear the ocean. So some rooms may say garden view but you might luck out and have a view of the ocean. They let you check out your rooms and if you don't like it you can ask to change. You’re going to be in the sexy pool most of the time and you can see the ocean from there. Have a great time.
Someone please remind me that there's an oceanview while I'm there otherwise I may be just too distracted by the other views to notice it.
That is a nice ocean view, but I wonder if having your front door around Paty O's is very noisy at night. I would request a room with that view when we get there a week from Thursday, only if the bar noise isn't too bad - otherwise it is more important to have a good nights sleep than the ocean view! I did like the rooms around the quiet pool, but would not want to go up more than one flight of stairs late at night! I also prefer a room off the hallway around the fitness center and the tex/mex place, and not on the other side of the quiet pool - too far away to "run to the room real quick" to get something.
Yes... Yes it can get very noisy if you are directly outside of Paty O's.. Bring Earplugs, or ask for a quiet room. We booked an ocean view, and I asked for a quiet room, and we ended up with an ocean view suite in the 1000 building. Its a longer drunken stumble, but well worth it for the quiet/view.
