I’m going down Aug 3-5 to celebrate my 50th early. I’m traveling alone, and I’ve never been before. Anything I should know? Don’t want to be “that guy” but I definitely want to let loose. Tips and tricks are welcome. Fellow travelers are very welcome
Golden Parnassus is pretty single friendly! Just be friendly and start up conversations with people around the tiki bar! I’ll ask people I pass in the pool if they want a shot when I’m on my way to get a drink, easy way to make friends in the pool. Bring a ‘bubba mug’ type cup for drinks, their cups are kinda small. There’s a Friday catamaran party, book at the front desk ASAP because it fills up fast. Tip your servers, they are all wonderful and definitely deserve it! As long as you don’t act like a drunken fool, you won’t be ‘that guy’.
