We'll be at Temptation July 30th-August 5th. We would love some help with a few questions we have.. 1. Drink menu (feel free to tell us your favorite drink) 2. Golf courses. Preferences? Would you like to join.? 3. Is it safe to travel/shop/sight see, outside "hotel zone"? Thank you.
We were here in May and honestly all the drinks were good. Any complaints you may read about inferior alcohol or a lack of alcohol in the more elaborate drinks wasn't true during our visit. I prefer beer, and my only complaint is that they did not have Corona. As for golfing that's your call, but are you sure you want to do that while visiting this particular resort? But, if you must play golf there are two nice courses just south of the airport. The Cancun Country Club may have a rate for visitors, but I would call in advance to check that out. And, just to the east of this course is the Moon Palace Golf & Spa and I'm fairly certain they have daily rates for visitors not staying at their resort. I would reconsider playing golf in Mexico in August; January or February would be much better! The areas just outside Temptations appear fairly safe, but I would restrict my exploring to the daylight hours. I wouldn't be strolling around after dark. Others on this board will have much better info about this than I do. Hope this helps.

I have been to Temptation 7 or 8 times and I didn't know Cancun had a golf course. I must have been distracted. But then again I have never been hanging out at a pool with lots of topless women and unlimited booze and had some one walk up and say "hey dude wanna go golfing"?
You wanna play what... whilst at TTR ????? Is Mrs Ohio Ryan playing with you ?? ........ your only there 7 days and your thinking of golf.... this is meant to be a wild , exciting vacation...NOT a nice walk in the country LOL....TRY YOUR SWING ON THE Boobs Cruise, BE WILD FOR 7 DAYS and play golf when your home ….. just my 3 pennies worth... p.s. Anyone know if there is life outside TTR apart from the chemist/liquor store across the road !!!
Haha I feel for you on the golf shit talking they’re giving you. Here, I’ll give you an example. Husband and I have been multiple times to TTR and thought it might be fun to book a round on a Sunday for his birthday. Got a tee time...cancelled it haha. Once your at TTR, it’s hard to leave hahaha
