Really great trip report! We were slackers and didn't post a trip report! Just getting married it seemed liked we came home to "Thank-you's" to write, cleaning up, job hunting, etc......I know excuses, excuses, excuses. Then it was like..."oh my gosh! a month has gone by and shit, shit, shit" "if I post a trip report now I'll look like a numbskull....:huh: So.... We waited until you posted the best first time report since we've been, and say a BID DITTO MAN!!!! You hit the nail on the head with that one! Really great report!:lotsofmichaelfs: We agree!!! Too the point of hoping some of our friends will consider coming in April next year. Only down side of our trip we would say, would be the number of single guys in March. Really would love to experience more of the fun couples and regular singles, like the ones we met (Redmuller, Knackard, HammieJ) and some of those we haven't like (Backs13). Didn't see naked volleyball, the theme nights were kind of a bust with the spring breakers intermixed, though we made the best of it and had a great time! Everyone is so friendly and fun to be with, your trip report just confirms my suspicion that it would have made our great honeymoon even better to be around such a fun group of friends. We really enjoyed everyone we met too! Marc and Diane were a "Hoot"artyhorn: Which this is soooooo cheesy but I must add we absolutely enjoyed meeting everyone (Jackie & Jim, Marc & Diane, Brenda & Robbin, Megan & Bill, Shayne & Tamara, Bill & Janice, Greg, Malcolm, Hallie, Jeff & Jill, Max & Susan) and there were a couple of ladies and there hubbies I met who were regulars I apologize for not remembering your names. We both apologize if we forgot to mention someone because it was the first time we have ever taken a vacation and really left with the feeling like we had made friends. Thank you. That must be why we keep checking in on this site Steve has created. It is a joy, and a pleasure to see people go away from a vacation happy. We need this in our life. Hi Abby! Hello my friend Abby! :aktion069::aktion069: I had no idea it was your first time to TTR. Glad you had a great time, and can assure you our first time was nearly not as fun! Actually, the first time we went to TTR, the resort was called Blue Bay Getaway, and Wilma (the hurricane) had just passed over Cancun. Most places were destroyed, but Blue Bay was open, same staff worked there (Chino & Jose) the first time we went, and I remember getting there and seeing the naked volleyball game and thinking "OH MY GOD!!! What are they doing???" However, it ONLY took me a 4th visit (this last visit) to the resort to actually participate in the naked volleyball game, the lingerie party, AND take my top off at the pool. And now I am just thinking - can't believe I was missing out on ALL that fun! RJ and I can't wait to go back again - I'm having Cancun withdrawls as we speak. We had way too much fun!!! I think that meeting you guys, and all the rest of the gang, was truly the icing on the cake. I only wish I had put more sunscreen on my chest as I was not prepared for the top (nor the bottom- LOL) off, and am suffering from a tiny sunburn in that particular area! :mermaid: We miss you guys! xoxo
I definitely hope to be back asap...going to be very hard to go anywhere else but I'm a try something new every year kind of person...regalrdess if we don't come next year it will be the year after. This is the most fun I've ever had at a resort, totally exceeded my expectations, and I cant believe how much I miss everyone!! Unfortunately home now I am sufferinng from the effects of a week of alcohol and food...but it's totally worth it. More sunscreen next time gabby!! And Monique, SAMBUCA!!! Xoxox.
