This is a great thread. Our story is very similar to many here. The first time we went was in September 2004, a four night trip, we were hooked. We found this site and went back to the May reunion in 2005 and we met some of the best people we have ever met. We have gone back in May and September every year since (except one year when we slid in an additional trip over the Easter holiday) . We met Steve on our second trip, and tons of other people over the years, many of which are now some of our closest friends. We often talk on the phone, email and vacation in other places with. I wouldn't trade the friends we have met on this site, at BBG/Temptations for anything!!
Our first trip was January 2007. Prior to the trip, I found this website. I chatted with a few people but when I got to the resort, there was no way that I was going to try to find those who I spoke to (I am shy)but instead I waited. After the first day, I finally met Diana and some others from Canada. We had the best time and one of them had a maple leaf stamp. They stamped my breast and made me an honorary Canadian. (Remember Tit for Twat??) LOL That evening, we went dancing in Nice Shoes....there we met two couples who have become some of our best friends. We have traveled with them and they have been down to our lake condo at the Lake of the Ozarks twice. They are all meeting in Colorado while we are at Temptations this time. We just couldn't give up our vacation to go somewhere cold. We will miss them. Last year, we saw some of the people from the first time, as we traveled during the same time period. We also met some others that are not on the site. One of whom is coming down from Minnesota to hunt on our land. A great thing about this resort compared to the dozen others we have been to is that everyone seems nice, is there for fun and no drama. Someone asked about fights and I have never seen a fight of any kind. Last year, I got sick and had to spend a day in the room. This is the kind of resort where my husband could go down to the Sexy Pool, find some people to hang out with and have a great day. Other resorts, he may have finished a book, caught a catnap but how boring would that be! Looking forward to a great time and meeting new friends!
We were serarching for a different adults only resort and found this site. We had been to other adults only resorts in the past but never really met anyone that we can remember. After reading the posts on here we decided this was the place. Our first year we met a group of canadian ladies at the "quiet pool" that were celebrating a 50th birthday. They invited us to join the festivities and We never left the quiet pool. WOW can canadians party! We still keep in touch This will trip #4 and we have met some wonderful people from this site. Rob & Diana, Dancin'Sean and I believe we briefly met Beverly and her husband during lunch. Mexican Booze tends to make the memory a bit fuzzy. All are wonderful people It's the people that go to Temptaion that make this resort. We have never been anywhere where you meet such great people. Couldn't imagine going any place else. We're still Temptaion Virgins compaired to some of the repeaters but We can honestly say returning is like going back home to visit old friends. Come on January!!
How could i forget you Greg haha... Picture it, Senor frogs Grand ReOpening in March of 2006 after the hurricane, tons and tons of people in there, thousands of miles from home in a different country... I hear someone say, hey Jim.. well the one that i went with were not around me, so i ignore it until the person walks right up to me and its Greg, someone that lives right down the road from my house.... oh and not to mention I wake up in the morning sitting in the jacuzzi telling my buddies how i met someone from my town, when all the sudden greg comes walking by ... so thousands of miles, out of the country, and someone from my town that drank at my bar was not only in cancun, but in the same hotel..... been fun ever since though greg lol
the greatest people Lee and I first went down in 2004 stayed at the club and after visiting BBG ( the getaway ) we knew where we would come the next trip...Our first person we met from cancuncare was jamie and He told us about this site and have been hooked ever since....We have met some of the greatest people in the world as far as I am concerned. From all corners of the world we can agree on one thing...Fun is universal...to name a few and if I leave you out Im sorry....I will blame tequila....George and Joey the cowboys from biloxi, Rhonda , Harry balls and his beautiful girls brenda and krissy, mike and Dave.. The BOSTON BOYS Mike and ray "peurto rico" and Jeremy. Harold and Tammy, A girl named "GIN" . Rob and Tonya and tequilla Ken, kurt and barb, Tmac and Kat, glenn and monique, Dan and Ginny, only to name a few....Look forward to meeting many more!!!!!! Cheers
We didn't find this site until after our third trip.....we ended up there during the cancuncare reunion and it was an incredible wild week. There was so many naked men butts running down the beach after Mandi took all their swimsuits and ran it down to the down by the boats. Even got more than a few naked pics of me outside the pool when we lost a volleyball and got our asses spanked by the other team then of course iced. Glenn of course was still chicken that year. It was one of my favorite trips and we are still friends with many that we met that year.
