Let me start by saying DAMN.. has it really been over a month!! I want to go back so bad.. and now that all the staff is gone.. man.. that sucks.. I tried to remember everything and write it down.. but life kept getting in the way.. so towards the end the details begin to fade... Friday July 25th: arrived at resort around 3:45 pm after using Brandts USA Transfer that took us straight to the resort. As stated before, we ended up upgrading to the Drops of Love package and I couldn't recommend it more. I heard from quite a few people about the bad rooms and the problems they ran into, well we got the Royal treatment. Champagne and flowers, chocolate covered strawberries every day, Beautiful room overlooking the quiet pool. I'm sure we won't be able to afford it everytime, but wow.. I'm gonna try. We grabbed a quick bite, got our tickets for the Friday night booze cruise and downed a few Tequila's. We got to meet quite a few people in the Patio bar before the cruise and few more on the cruise and at Carlos and Charlies. Since Andrea didn't get a chance to "hang out" at the pool that day.. she did quite a good job of "hanging out" during the cruise.. Tanna joined her as they both had quite a bit to drink.. Ok I may have had a dozen or so drinks myself including 2 of the tall ones at once... Andrea ran into Tera, they had graduated from HS together and had only seen each other at their HS Reuinion a few years agao.. pretty small world. The Oklahoma football coaches ( Josh, Dave, Matt, and their beautiful wives) were there and we danced quite a bit before deciding to skip the City and go back to TTR. We decided to break in the Jacuzzi that night and may have had a few people walk by and notice a butt in the air.. all was good. Sat: a bit hung over, we ate breakfast and headed to the Sexy pool. I was shocked that Andrea had her top on.. that lasted about 10 min. We met Brian, although not sure he remembers anything from Saturday, he was plastered at 10:00 am and kept going like the energizer bunny, at least until security invited him to take a nap around 3 or so... Andrea was up dancing with the cast and we had our first T-shirt in the afternoon... I didn't realized how hard it was to suck beer out of a baby bottle, but at least I had a good view. The Hunker Down crew introduced me to the Purple Shit..not bad. We had lunch at Margarita's. Ceasar was our waiter again. He got ahold of our camera and lets just say he found the pictures from earlier that morning... oops.. In the afternoon there was a bit of drama at the pool that day as this bitch decided to cause a stink and say that Josh (Hunker Down) grabbed her at the bar... uh if you saw Josh's wife and then saw her...uh.. I don't think so... Tera got in her face as we all were defending him... her poor boyfriend had to come over and confront him.. that took balls and we commended him for it. Lets just say that Josh, Dave, Matt and Edwin were all very large muscular fellows, and for him to say his peace was admirable. He eventually left, and I mean left.. got fed up with the whining of the crazy girlfriend and left TTR... dude.. next time kick her out.. and you stay.... We had dinner at the Italian restaurant... Excellent we ate there twice and I highly recomend it. Said hi to Alabama while there. We also met Tammy and Larry that day ( you guys are awesome) as well as Kim and John... well John found out that day the the drinks at TTR are NOT watered down... he didn't make it out that night.. so we hung out with Kim, Larry, Tammy, and Edwin. We saw Brian, somehow going strong after a power nap and called it a night around 12:00 or so since we were going on the Sunday booze cruise. Sun: got up and after breakfast with Kim and John (hung over).. we walked to the pier and we ran into a large group of Non TTR people including lots of kids. We signed up for an "Adults Only" cruise as it was advertised and we were quite upset to have a bunch of kids on the boat. Andre had got used to going topless, and was not happy to have a teenage boy oogling her bikini. We later had to pick up even more kids and it was a long, long day. They also advertised parasailing, uh...NO.. no wind... not much fun. The snorkling was very rushed and not much to see it was just hurry, hurry, this way.. hurry.. then make sure you shop HERE and HERE... and then a great mexican lunch ... uh grilled chicken and fried fish... you've got to be kidding.. at least they had all the beer you could buy ($4 each) ... so I would NOT recommend the cruise on Sunday.... and I'm sure if it had been a bunch of TTR folks and no kids, I would not have noticed all the bad, but it wasn't.. We got back in time to hang out at the pool with Tammy and Larry, Devin, Heather.. .... had to buy the crazy cowboy hats cause we had burnt our heads..from then on we were known as the "Texans".. I am a Californian...I just happen to live in Texas..lol We kept is pretty calm that night as we had an excursion scheduled the next day. Mon: We scheduled an ATV jungle Cenotes tour, and a reef snorkling trip through Brandts. The driver was waiting for us at 8:30. The only problem we had was that the first driver didn't speak any English. The paper I had printed out did not get all the words. I thought I recalled that it said I needed cash for the balance of the excursion, so I asked the driver since I was going to need to hit the ATM, but when I asked if I could pay with a credit card, he smiled and shook his head.. which I later realized figured out that he didn't understand us.. This driver took a scenic route (not really) as we were the only ones in the van and were beginning to think we were being kidnapped and taken to a really bad area to be killed.... well he eventually found the place, but we were still the only Americans in site. There we met Samuel, our guide for the day. He asked for payment and that is where I found that they did not take credit cards. I didn't bring an ATM card, and couldn't get cash from my credit card, so we were very nearly screwed.. it was a 45 min drive back to the hotel. He finally said that it would be OK and we could just pay the driver at the end of the day when we returned. We did the snorkling first and it was with just one other couple. It was AMAZING. Samuel took us to 2 different reefs and led us around at a very slow and relaxed pace. He pointed out a sting ray, poking at it on the bottom to get it to flutter up. He spotted a large eel, and a bunch of ...... Andrea didn't like them much as they had lots of TEETH... we then went back to the beach and had a nice lunch with 2 drinks included. After lunch the other couple left and Samuel got us our ATV and took us on an individual. That night in nice shoes was the Quest... first.. We helped out with the cheapest watch.. no matter how many nice watches I buy her.. she keeps wearing that $5 black watch that got Lalo lauahing his head off.. Then they needed the sexiest underwear.. well Andrea happened to wear a one piece pant suit.. didn't stop her from offering them up.. she dropped it all in the front row and offered them up..a little blue thong with the word "Rebel" on it... they won.. she came in second in the biggest breast competition..lost by a nipple..lol. After that there was the sexy leg competion.. .Andrea was up on stage.. and well, wearing the one piece with no undies... I knew that was going to be more of a show than most would be expecting.. so I tossed her thong to her.. she went behind the stage and disrobed again to get them back on... which was a good thing because when she made it to the finals... she dropped the outfit while dancing.. all was good, but she came in second... to Michelle.. who now had the Iron woman and the Ms. Slut awards.. hence the name Iron Slut. That night was the outing to Coco Bongos.. It was packed.. Ayesha grabbed Andrea and Tammy (Larry and I got to tag along) as she walked us downstairs to the main bar where they danced most of the night on the main Bar... was pretty cool.. except that ment I was surrounded by guys most of the night.. The show was AWESOME.. a definite don't miss.. When we left we listend to Larry who swore he knew where the bus stop was.. well after a 10 minute walk and 20 people offering either cabs or pizza.. we took a cab back. When we made it back to TTR it was perfect time for Burgers at 3:00am.... There we ran in to Kim and a variety of others.. Tues: Andrea got her hair Braided Hair , we saw the Thong guys (you'll know if you see the pics).., more stage dancing, We met Robert and Joy (cousin) about the time we met the Crazy Lady, she had way too much of something and started hitting on me, then Andrea, then me, then anyone.. Joy was acting like Andrea's cousin to say that Mom wouldn't like it... but yet they wouldn't help me....... She eventually got escorted out so that she could sober up a bit... Dave and John were talking and John talked about the beer drinking contest.. Dave called him out and I got suckered into it too..So John grabbed 9 beers and we had a little chugging contest. Don't let Johns size fool you, he can slam some beer.... He was fast, but I took it on a minor technicality.. later we hung out with Andy and Sue (short bus) Barbara and Randall... Oliver the funnny drunk... That night was Kareoke... Michael, lets just say he was unique. He sang "Man, I feel like a woman", well, I wouldn't call it singing.. but he was Michael. I'm not quite sure how to describe him, but we'll just say people cheered for him for being a good sport.. Andrea .. sang Like a Virgin...LOL... Andrea did a shot on stage, then after Michael won.. cough, cough, cough... we went to Senor Frogs.. Where somehow Andrea did about 4 more shots in less than an hour.. and well.. she doesn't drink that much.. The guy with the C02 canister was blowing up dresses, and she was quite popular.. She didn't mind cause it was cooling her off a bit.. One of the waiters was making nametags for everyone.. and without any help.. he came up with "Easy" for Andrea... he had a bit tougher time for me but eventually settled on "He's with Easy".... ya.. that about sums it up... well too much tequilla so we headed home early for a bit more channel 12. Wed.. beach Volleyball... Music Trivia game, somehow everytime I answered I got a shot, right or wrong, shot! Before I knew it, we ( the guys) were on our 3rd bottle and I had 1 on my own.. Later I asked Ayesha why she kept picking on me and she said "you opened your mouth everytime I said drink. You didn't have too!" .. guess she was right, well at least I got a T-Shirt ..... and lap dance... Balloon popping game.. Tequilla Volley ball... Darts.. got sick... had a Dr come to the room and $200 later (80 for Dr 120 for meds) I was ready do veg and recover Body Shots contest .. Lalo said that we were brother and sister...We actually heard people asking later if we were really brother and sister... uh seriously people.. we're from Texas, not Arkansas. OK.. Running out of time here I can't ever get this finished .. so the rest is done in Readers Digest Condensed version. Thurs- .. recoup... can't remember much .. change bathing suit game... She had to wear a 3 piece that day instead of her usual thong only..sheesh, me in a green thong, not a pretty site... couple Dance contest.. Debbie Dave won.. .. got ready for lingerie night.. played blackjack .. got a T-shirt... and Ayesha was looking rather nice in the black leather outfit. Friday.. Pole dancing class.. Love and Marriage.. RIPP OFF .. How is it we got more questions than anyone and lost to the couple that only got one?... naked tequilla volleyball That night Mens Nice legs..haha.. ya... I was the guy that went from shorts to shiny blue boxers.. to a G-String dancind in the cage.. I can't even say I was too drunk to remember... one a free pass to The city... LOts of people at the City.. Sat.. uh... stuff.. volleyball.. Iron Man.. michael..thought he was going to pass out.. water polo... nice diner in room (Drops of Love is AWESOME)... show.. Sun.. volleyball.. lazy bingo... Beer drinking.. Andrea lost to Tory.. the Milwaukie Champ.. but she did awesome considering she hates beer... wind surfing.. shopping walmart.. Jacuzzi Fun... .. Oh ya .. I loved the Jacuzi Room Mon. ( ... time to go home.. 2hrs at the airport... Well now we are just waiting til we can get back.. hope its not too long.. and hope it is still as fun as last time now that all the cool staff is gone. Nice shots Thanks for the trip report and pics. How was the entertainment staff? Seems you had a great time with the activities? I'm leaving for TTR a week from Friday. Can't wait. Bill
Since my TR is a month old, we were fortunate to still have the awsome staff.. We had lunch with all of them at least once.. Chinos,Lalo, Omar, Jose, Ayesha... It was our first trip.. I just hope they decide not to change it too much, because it was the best vacation either of us have had.. I'll be watching this forum closely for TR's over the next few months.. So please let us know how your trip goes.
