Stella in a bottle doesn't come close to Stella in a can and Stella in a can doesn't come close to a lovely cold pint down the local, it's in that order, purely taste wise, bottles always the worst option, still a million times better in a bottle than Corona piss water.
Hehe, this must be only in the case of Stella I assume  Canned beer is always "plan B" if bottles cant be found
Still curious is it in a clear bottle? Does it get a skunky taste in the bottle?? Inquiring minds ya know
It's in a green bottle Gonzo. It's an English thing - I'm sure most of Europe would disagree with us and go for a bottle everytime
Back when I lived in a place where you could get decent beer we used to drink a lot of Caffrey's which is/was an English beer. It only came in cans and they had that widget thing that added the gas to the beer at the last second, as you poured, just like taps do I guess. That was a great beer.
Rawkus, this Sorianna, was it the one next to Club Albatross, just past Naco Plaza, sorry i mean Gran Plaza.
Sam: Im not a 100% sure, but I think it was very close to Gran Plaza. Mat, if you read this, please ask Pam and/or Paola to give you and Sam more precise directions
The new "casino" is for bingo and sports book--for now. Right next to the City Theater that never was on Tulum.
I went there last Saturday with Mat. It's at the old Novedades office on Tulum. The place is huge and has obviously had some serious cash spent on it. There are slots downstairs but blackjack, poker and roulette upstairs. Also one of those sports book places with a ton of TV's showing various strange sports such as American football, Baseball and Basketball. I say 'casino' in inverted commas because (presumably to get round the laws) there are no live dealers. Instead the games are sophisticated electronic affairs where the dealer is a computer but you do play against other real people, sat in a circle around the 'table'. The system is basically you buy credits (chips) at a croupier (300 pesos min) and then enter your number into the machine, and receive another ticket when you cash out. The technology is like the I phone where you use a touch sensitive screen to pick up, look at and play your cards etc. The place does have quite an authentic casino atmsophere, it's not like the place at Kukulcan Mall at all. There are a couple of bars and a restaurant, free drinks for players and lots of pretty hostesses. It was pretty full on Saturday.
