    Liking it so far!

I defiantly think things might change up a bit with the Rating/like icons, and I hope it is for the positive. Hate to see some people get into so stuff with the "Dumb" and "Disagree" buttons. Not even sure what to do with the "old" option, haha. Would we put that on anytime the "Running Buffet" or "Dancing spaghetti legs" is brought up?

I love the new board! It's pleasing to the eyes (and I don't just mean the Boobs Cruise ads) It's easy to navigate.

The only thing I think might be a problem are the "disagree" and "dislike" buttons. It would be sad to see a post rack up negative points, especially if it's just someone expressing their genuine opinions.

Other than that, it's terrific. Thanks Steve!

Based on my experience with other forums that converted, you kind of have to reset the forum in order for it to recognize new posts. To reset the forum, hover over Forums in the upper left and select "Mark Forums Read". Once you mark the forums read, all the threads will no longer be bold. Then as new posts are added to threads, they will be bold and as you read the threads they will go unbold again.

ETA: Okay, this didn't work here. Hopefully Steve can fix it.

Steve, I think you may see an increase of hits on the main Cancun Care page. It may just be me, but I keep hitting the "Home" or the house icon, and it goes to the main site. I believe on the old setup there was something similar, but it returned you to the route of the forum page. Obviously now I just have to hit "forum" instead of "home", but I wanted to just mention this depending on what you do for traffic tracking, and perhaps I am not the only one doing this.

Re the unread posts issue, there may be a few ways to increase their visibility. I'm looking into it at the moment.

To start with I've added a red notification with number of unread posts. If you click the link it will take you to all the unread posts.

I'll look into other ways as I agree, unread posts need to be more noticeable

As an aside, please can someone check that regular users can start new threads in this section ?

Would it be possible to break out some of the options that are under the Forums button? Perhaps a dedicated button for New Posts and Watched forums? Easier than having to hover over the forums button and wait for the popup.

I've changed the blue dot to something more noticeable. Helps a little more but not perfect yet.
