Hi y'all, jumping in here after FINALLY getting my ducks in a f-ing row for February. See everyone who's there from the 15-th to the 18th! Since Stacia & I were at TTR last year four damn times, do you mind if I toss some info out to you? Just our experience and my personal recommendations based off of those experiences. First, "Tight & Bright" is a brilliant idea for a theme night. Next, going to the club is a great idea on Friday and/or Saturday nights from TTR. I don't want to write a novel here, but if you want to know the backstory (all of our 2012 trips went "over" a Saturday, and we stayed at TTR each time), I'll 'splain you. I suggest putting T&B on the night when you go clubbing. Just a neat-O idea! I totally copied Brent&Kells original posting on the days/themes, and here's what he/they had for the days Stacia & I'll be there (15th to 18th): Friday Feb. 15th: White/Glow Night Saturday Feb. 16th: Sunday Feb. 17th: Men’s White Dress Shirt & Heels Night (We get tossed back to the real world at Noon-ish on Monday the 18th.) Here's what I suggest for the 3 nights we'll be at TTR. Note you guys, someone has to just put this stuff "out there" on the board, then people jump on it with "Yeah, that's great," or "No, that idea sucks" for some reason the majority don't post ideas. I have this as a proposed calendar: Friday Feb. 15th: White, glowing pajamas Night Saturday Feb. 16th: Tight & Bright and Hit Senor Frogs Night Sunday Feb. 17th: Men’s White Dress Shirt & Heels Night (The WDS) In reverse order, Ladies in Men's White Dress Shirt Night was at the same time the absolute best (with participation of quite a few ladies) night we've ever had at TTR, and the worst (only 2 ladies in the shirts). For WDS, you really Must get people committing to each other to come down to Patyo's at 9:00 to 9:30 p.m. in their dress shirts and high heels - BEFORE you go, On this Board, PM-ing each other, etc. In August, we had something like 50-odd girls committed to wearing them on WDS, and Wallah! We converted non-CCC people into the theme night participation. Check out the pics in our August Album. In October, using the same theme night, but not banging the drum since I ASSumed that everyone just "knew" how much fun WDS was, we had 2 girls. Stacia & Terri. The other people were looking at our girls like they were sorry for them, that they had lost their luggage at the airport. Not quite, but you get the idea. Participation is Critical! Adam & I were cussing ourselves. I think that going to the club, I just happen to like Senor Frogs, is a great idea for Saturday night. I can confirm that crazy drunken revelry occurs at the Cancun Senor Frogs, too. Stacia's done her share of panty-less bar and table-top dancing (see, table dances are ... different, she does those too, but not at Frogs) when we've been at Senor Frogs. Note, we're not married to the idea of going to Senor Frogs, but we've never, not in 7 different trips there, Ever had a bad time. If others wanna go to another club they know is great fun, shout out! Key to Frogs, and probably most of the fun bars, is -- get there just a bit early, and tip well from the beginning. That insures you a warm place in the bartender's heart. I know that this flies in the face of what people "want to do," but it does work. If you want to go hit the bar at 1:00 a.m., and expect to get immediate respect fro that bartender whose been sweating his ass off for three hours already )they work HARD), and don't expect to have to tip more than the change from your bill, you are setting yourself up for disappointment in Cancun. Best way I've ever done it, I think, is to have Stacia do the ordering (Hottie gets attention), then I swoop in to deliver compensation for the drink-set ordered, then drop a $10 after I know what the total is. Tender sees her, sees me, joins the two of us as "good tippers," and then we don't have o tip again for 2, maybe 3 rounds, and then we redo the process. Seems expensive. Ain't. How did I get distracted by that.... maybe it's this beer in my desk. Anyway. Moving onward and backward. White Night/Glow Night is boring. Well, for TTR it's boring. Any night with good weather at TTR is going to be a great time, but, in comparison, as a "Theme Night," it needs a little something-something. So, what about white and/or glowing pajamas? You just know that, at TTR, pajamas could mean just about anything from a full-length sleeping shift worn by a guy to next-to-nothing nighties. I suppose those can be worn by guys, too. What do you guys think? I have this idea of lots of silk booty shorts and chemises running around in heels, something like that. Guys, don't wear heels, you'll break something. Maybe me, when you fall over. Stick with sandals. Just trying to nail things down before we're a month out. Those good shopping deals might be gone in January, ya know.
Thanks for the perfect advice. THat was what I was looking for! I'll add my own suggestions for week 8, based on what we all have been throwing around. Out of all the clubs, I reallllllly want to go to CocoBongo and Senor Frogs. Just cuz, but that's my own personal thoughts, feel free to say yea or nay. ;P WEEK 8- Sunday Feb 17th: Men’s White Dress Shirt & Heels Night Monday Feb. 18th: Anything goes (CocoBongo Club Night) Tuesday Feb. 19th: Naughty School Girl w/ Magic Mike Men Wednesday Feb. 20th: Tight & Bright Night Jello Wrestling Day Thursday Feb. 21st: TTR Lingerie Night *Possible group trip to Chichen Itza Friday Feb. 22nd: TTR White/Glow Night Saturday Feb. 23rd: TTR Sexy Red Dress Night (Senor Frogs Club Night) I wannnnnna shop! Pat has a bunch of carts ready for check out, but we don't know exactly what is happening yet. What do we think? Can we agree to this add it to the official

Tagging on what has been suggested by Stacia&John and Jenny; I agree with John about Tight&Bright on CocoBongo Night, saving any need to change out of a theme outfit before heading out (which ever date that may be), and the second suggestion is Lingerie night & magic mike on the same night, see how the ladies will be half naked and guys stripping that would just make for a good night i think! ;P How does this sound to the group? Once it's finalized we can finish the shopping and get everyone involved in the theme nights at whatever level they wish!? I have a couple carts open, that include things that could be for other themes like 50 fifty shades of grey haha
