First timers here! My boyfriend and I just booked from February 14-22 I'm 23 and he's 25, looking to meet some new people and have a blast! Already counting down the days.
Ohhhh shit.....newbies!!!:aktion047: You guys are in for an awesome time, we were there for our first trip 2 years ago and probably had the same questions, concerns, excitement you are feeling right now. Don't be afraid to ask tons of questions to get yourself as hyped as possible for hopefully one of the best weeks of your life Welcome!!!!!
The good thing is you found Cancuncare early and made a post. By the time you get down there you will already have made so many friends you won't know where to start partying first. I'm sure you'll be like most of us here, it may be your first time but probably won't be your last.
All I have to say is welcome, watch for theme nights (some are hotel some are ours)... and participate. If you are unsure... bring something just incase... I am sure you will be drunk enough that we will be able to talk you into it. Oh and just remember... no body knows you and no body gives a shit
Thanks for the warm welcome guys, we can't wait to let loose and have a crazy week! We're using our friends' referral week, and we've heard plenty of stories so we kinda know what to expect. My main concern is that we're kinda on the younger side, will we still fit in? Haha
Age means nothing there. Dont worry about it at all. We couldnt believe the energy, sense of humour, and just general love of fun everyone had there no matter how old they were.
Probably not. Just bring some water wings so we don't have to watch you all the time. And don't poop in the pool. And if you get hungry your on your own, we're not feeding you. In all seriousness, you're just coming to play in the pros all-star game straight out of college. The 30 year olds that come to TTR are the ones who didn't self-casturate when then had kids. And the 40 year olds have been drinking their asses of since before Al Gore invented the Internet. And never question the party in the 50 year olds there. They've proven themselves to be immortal. So hit the ground running and go hard. The reality is that the older you get, the less you care about your age and the more you care about people. You'll have fun. Get involved and bean active driver of your vacation. Not a passive bystander.
That's what we thought but just wanted to make sure we've been lurking this forum for awhile and everyone seems so friendly! Can't wait to meet everyone.
Awesome advice, thank you! We are both more on the shy side, and as an elementary teacher I feel like I'm always under a microscope so it will be amazing to be in another country where nobody knows you and nobody gives a shit!!!
