February 2014 Roll Call - Week 8 Crew

And we might fit in a trip sometime between now and Feb 2014

 

Sorry but I have to disagree. I had a fantastic week on 1/2 of Week 8.

Lenni....I agree with you! Since Week 8 encompasses two weeks in February maybe it should be the so called official start of the week until the last day of February.

We are all here to have fun and some of those in your group at the end of Week 7 knows we are fun people. It just works out better for us to go the last week of the month. Believe me, if I could work it out, I would go and be there the whole time with several couples who go earlier than I can.

I really don't care what you call it. I was just trying to be diplomatic to those who have been there 12 to 15 times and named the last week of the month, Week 8.

I didn't mean any offense to anyone with my comments, after all this was out first time there and we are still relative newbies. I was just trying to make the point that clarification as to what "week 8" means would be helpful to those of us who met this year during that time, and would like to go together again.

My experiences re: week 9 crowd are clouded by the behaviors of very few people. I guess that's probably not a fair way to look at it. Anyway, I guess to dispel confusion there's always good, old-fashioned dates that we can use for those of us trying to coordinate together. As long as I don't get yelled at for posting in the wrong roll call.

 

I don't look at the calendar aspect of it as the dates change every year, and not everyone can take the exact same dates off work.... hence why I look at it more as The Week 8 Crew and not just the 8th week of the year, we are all The Crew who makes Feb Roll Call happen as a huge family team, now everyone stop wining over a name before I get all sentimental and start crying. :bootyshake::mnm::bootyshake:

As far as the vibe changing, it even happens to us as our old friends are leaving and new ones are coming in, we probably look like complete idiots to the new crews showing up as we are already fully inebriated and in the full swing of it, then by day 2 or 3 everyone has finally loosened up more than they were on day 1, I for example was very conservative on Day 1 & 2, on day 3 full swing with very little sleep. By day 11 after seeing many faces come and go I hit the wall. My feet were starting to swell like the flintstones and I didn't want to miss the party, so I slept at the sexy pool. I was woken up with several beautiful ladies standing over me, not sure who was who as all I could see was thighs and extremely skinny thongs just inches away from my face, it was just one of several high lights of my trip. Can't wait till 1st Mate sends me that picture. Thought I died and went to heaven, that is a must repeat for next year.

Btw a few people asked if I did "coke" or "nose candy" to stay awake a party non stop... the answer is NO, I have NEVER touched the stuff and have no plans in the future to do so. I'm on holidays and just love to let lose with everyone I meet. Those who do it, I have nothing against your choices in life, that's your thing... I'm not going to hold it against you either.

Once everyone has finally had a few moment to go thru their pictures, please send me some so I can write my trip report with pictures attached, for those like me who prefer books with pictures rather than just text lol.

The biggest thing I always try to do is meet as many people as possible, this way I have 10 friends here in one group, 6 friends in another group, 16 in another so that I am not just with the same people everyday, and eventually those 3 small groups of friend are now merge into a crowd of 32. Hence below and this was only day 2 of our trip.

 

It is weird reading everything before we made our first trip ~ I was worried about what to expect. So as you can imagine was a little apprehensive/reserved at first. My trip couldn't have been better and I know that a BIG part is the people that made the vacation! With that said~ I can't wait for the return trip. And watch out cause the top will be coming off

week 8

Gord and I are in for week 8 in 2014. We will be looking at better flights this time though. It was 21 hrs of travel to get to Vancouver and that isn't even home. I can't believe the fun we had. Jello wrestling was a hoot. Dressing up for theme nights was so much fun and I am still in shock that I got up on the stage (more than once).... will have to practice on the dance pole (or fire pole at work) for next year lol.

 

Me, my brother, mine and his girl are all in for week 8 next year (also Halloween this year) my bugged out eyes are a sign of way to many wet pussies...
