Great report! Lots of tips in there for sure for newbies like me.
Can you please tell me more about the construction. I can not deal with that after days and nights drinking...it hairbrush to us in Thailand and we had to move hotel.
We are going end june-start july...will we be affected?is there areas that are quiet?? :-/

Hey, excellent review. I read the whole thing, resisting the urge to jump to the end and read about BOOBS!

We'll definitely ask for a room with the excellent shower heads.

Any advise on what part of the resort to try to get a room? Want to avoid construction and excessive nighttime noise.
