Wow!! Old TTR must have been a hell of place! And there's surely no other place like it ANYWHERE in the world, cause you keep coming back! Are we glad that wasn’t what we found when we went…I would have never set foot again in Mexico!
yeah that first day, the reopening, August 15th 2017, was rough for many. As marshe mentions we got pretty lucky. Our day went like this... we came from Desire Pearl flying high after some amazing fun arrived early morning, 5th to check in received an upgrade to a master suite at no cost to us got an amazing personal tour as documented by our live from TTR report here... Jen and Kyle live from TTR! room had AC and running water (well for part of the time) that night we just stepped over the sewage running thru the lobby due to the toilets not working lol and partied like rock stars at Bash despite it being maybe only 40% full enjoyed @marshe company and @Steve and @Jannet company and met many new friends But yeah if we hadn't seen the potential and had so many life changing experiences at TTR in the past we likely would of said f this. Hopefully no one made the reopening their first experience at TTR as I bet they would of never come back.
