my buddy who lives down there told me it IS open now and the serve free beer from 12-3pm each day just like in past years!! Said its a lot smaller and a different atmosphere than it used to be............ but,
As of Yesterday Fat Tuesdays is not re-opening... They are building something next to Fat Tuesdays but what it will be once it is complete is anybodys guess... sorry to be the bearer of bad news)
Mike there is rumour from your locals that yes there won't be one at the old locaiton, but they are infact building something elsewhere.
yes, it IS open already from what my buddy told me, he lives next door!! Free beer each day from noon-3pm during spring break, not sure how good the crowds will be since no party packages or travel services have linked anything to the new fat tuesdays being open, so it likely will be hit or miss, Im guessing it wont be that packed since no one will no its open or even down there........... but worth a try!!
