No, not a member... I will check tonight. Part of my membership perks is that if I find a cheaper rate advertised anywhere, they will give me the cheaper rate plus a 25% discount.

I normally stay at the Marriotts when I'm in LA, and always find a cheaper online rate for the Burbank and/or Beverly Hills. Bevery Hills is about $240 a night, but online rates of around $180 which drops it to $135/night. Same with Niagara falls... Advertised rate is about $120, online promos around $100 which reduces the price to about $75 every time I've had to stay there.

I did a quick search for the Meriden Marriott, but could only find the single rooms advertised, not the double room.

 

I see the 2 room suite at the Marriott Residence Inn in Meriden.

Now I just need to find the discount code.

No, it's a bar but they are staying at a hotel nearby.

Sorry!! I have been out of the office and I miss two pages!!

I can certainly have a person sleep in the spare room, we just have to be careful about all out parties. We have a tenant living downstairs at our house & she was not happy with us the last time we had visitors. I figure since she's paying part of the mortgage, we should maybe try to be quieter! :lol:

Anyway, the hotel on Bee St. is super close to QT and just about a mile and a half backroads.

As far as festivities, whatever you guys want is fine with me! Casino is fine - or whatever you want. You guys are the ones traveling-we can do whatever around here anytime. So you tell me!

 

Also, if you guys wanted to get super adventerous, we could always take the train into the city (New York) for the night. We did that a few weeks ago for Caroles bday (except in a limo) and had a great time.

 

-Just giving you a hard time about your place... I wander... A hotel works great in case I get separated from the group.

-For the record, we weren't the loud ones last time. Other than one crash into a stairmaster, we were the quiet ones!

-If we're going to NYC, we should decide before we book hotel rooms...

 

If we went to NYC, we'd still come home that night (at some point anyway) haha....but you guys decide what you want to do, the options are endless!!!!

 

We wouldn't stay overnight in NYC thought. Take the last train back in at like 1am.
