you can can start a private conversation , and add people to the chat up to extra 5 ,, makes it a small group Click on any ones name,, then Start Conversation , then this appears under it >>>add .... ''Separate names with a comma. You may invite up to 5 member(s)''
There is probably an option to allow more people to a private chat, but then I think that would cut down on the amount of useful information that would be presented to the general public. How could all the "voyeurs" read all the stupid shit I post, hahaha. The chat groups are hard to keep up with IMO, CancunCare's layout and the ability to have multiple topics separated out is nice. Also, the ability reply direct to something someone asked, or said, and have the original quote be in the reply is extreamly helpful. A user doesn't have to go back 3 pages to figure out what people are even talking about. The context is right there and it helps clue everyone in on the topic. Also, look at the benefit of being able to bring an old thread back to life. Hence this post Now I am not just sitting here thinking about how many Cadbury eggs I should (or shouldn't) eat this weekend.
Cancuncare reminds of the old 'bulletinboards' and that is why I really like it. Very easy to navigate and I work from home and it is just so easy to open up the forum and see which threads have new posts that I have not seen (that is the best part) I make myself close it though so I can make $ to go to Temptation!!
Both sites have their purpose. It really depends on the discussion, the censorship and the amount of privacy you conversation requires. Cancuncare is best for resort related posts.............Facebook.......and specifically messenger are pretty wide open.

CCC Has been a great site.........terrific information for the newbies.......for who is going to be on resort when.......for theme night discussions .......Boobs cruises etc. The media section.......and personal discussion has become extremely limited on CCC. We get it........Steve has to set limits so that sponsors will stay on board. It's his site.........they're his sponsors. On the otherhand FB allows much more open communication within groups and sub groups without censorship. There's a "market" for both sites..............for now at least!
Only data CCC "collects" is your username and email. I really do not take any interest in either and it's not used for anything other than to let folks log into the forum. If it is ever used for anything else, feel free to kick my ass. I am lot easier to find than Mark Zuckerburg!
