F*ck You Temptations – Please Read!

Off topic a bit, but maybe not. I've always wondered, you see a big group of people (yes typically younger for some reason) and they're almost paralytic in the pool during the day. It looks like they've been partying 3 days straight, maybe drugs involved? I've seen groups like this, where one or two get extra rowdy, try to interfere with the games etc...why do they still get served? I've seen first hand people like this trying to mess up the games, getting in on group activities they're not a part of rather than just watching from the side. I've heard of incidents of them pushing entertainment staff in the pool with the mic in hand.

Should there be a protocol to deal with these kind of troublemakers before they offend anyone? Stop this behaviour in its tracks before it happens in future? Drugs are meant to be a kicked off resort offence, if someone is suspect why not check?

 

Wow, gosh that's kind of scary, please tell me you wont be there in October.

Ingram, reading all of the posts, I can't imagine as a woman, pushing someone unless I felt threatened, I think your wife must have felt this way. I am sorry for your experience, but thank you for posting as well, I have spoken with my OH about your experience to sort what we would do in this kind of situation as alcohol does magnify everything and I know that my OH wouldn't be happy if I was upset.
Hope you get something sorted with this.

 

Let's all just take a look at the first post. The reason this thread was started. It's a shame a couple of nice people had to endure such a shitty vacation and anniversary. Sh$t they have been to TTR 8 times that's a regular that Temptation wil miss. Again sorry you guys had a shitty time.

 

Well, apparently, Cancun would be the worst place to start any fights after reading this thread.

Might get put in jail forever down there if an actual real fight develops (considering that the altercation that developed was just pushing in this blog post).


I don't condone violence against anyone unless its self defense. I haven't seen anyone on this blog condoning violence against women (or anyone else for that matter) except for one person who made idle threats.


The people who talk the most about how tough they are usually the last person you need to be scared of. They almost never do anything of significance from my experience. I would be far more concerned about the quiet ones who don't say much.

Fortunately, in my state I have a full CCW permit withs tons of experience with multiple platforms. It would be a very bad day for someone who "came after me" in real life, particularly since they couldn't hide behind their badge in my state.

Im more worried about stubbing my toe on my refrigerator.


Has the resort actually addressed this issue or are they still ignoring it?

Wow. What a thread. I could see all of this happening to me and its scary..
Im not huge but I'm 5'10 225 at 14% bf. Most say I'm a big guy. I know what its like to be assumed as the aggressor although Im about as laid back as they come. Our first trip ( only trip so far) I had to deal with a few drunks who couldnt or wouldnt take the hint. It wasnt a big deal. I really didnt take into consideration the actual shit that could have taken place. I will go forward with this story in my mind.
Here is my take on the thread

1.Its a damn shame the resort handled it the say they did

2.Foolcat is annoying as hell and I quickly learned to fly past his posts. He is a troll and not even a good one. He most certainly isnt cool.

On to what is important in this thread Ingram and Jewels. Yes I think a couple who are emailing/PMing on Facebook are starting to hear back from the resort. Waiting to hear more at this time, they are being forced to investigate now it seems.

I had a problem a few years ago with a jerk being inappropriate and wouldn't take no for an answer. I told security, and yes some don't speak English very well. but he went over to pool bar and bar tender explained to them what happened for me. guy was not a problem again. the bar tenders are great for translating for you. they know you and usually like the guests. sorry for what happened to you guys. and for the comment that the guys were just drunk, well if your an ass then being drunk just makes you more of an ass.

 

I may be setting myself up for a barrage of jokes, but not all lawyers are corrupt. Again, I think it would be a good idea for somebody who lives in Cancun to find one and make his/her contact details available. It could save a lot of money and aggravation.
