Thank you Steve, another member and I were on the phone earlier discussing, among other things, how far down the toilet this thread had gone. It started out as trying to accomplish something good but the mob mentality took over, the war drums were beaten and civilization crumbled.

 

I don't know anything about this incident other than what I have read here (like most of you). But something has gotten under my skin. There is a guy on here that, from his profile, appears to be a police officer in the states. If this is in fact his profession, what a disgrace to the profession. Threatening to take a vacation just to physically harm someone over an internet thread? Calling names? Real mature, buddy.

In my opinion I think even after reviewing the security camera's and finding out that resort was wrong and made a mistake, they will never going to admit it but I hope they feel the right thing would be to refund and make it all go away. I think Ingram you should not slow down, keep on pushing on it and keep on asking for answers, I think the resort will have to budge.

 

So sorry this happened to both of you. I hope TTR does the right thing by you.

A belated "Happy Anniversary"...I hope your Valentines celebration was in a better setting with a much better outcome. The best part of this thread is the support you offer each other as a couple; from an old married couple....those really hard, crappy days are sometimes the ones that make your love more rock solid. Wishing you many more anniversaries in the future, all with much better celebrations than the 5th year one!

 

Sorry Steve, my bad, but violence against women I will not tolerate. I just feel bad for OP knowing they are good people and their time was ruined, people here supporting that sort of bugs me. I'll shut up.

 

So lets get this thread back to the topic of how or can we help Ingram and Jewels. An email campaign has started, good start, multiple social media platforms are engaged, and as people visit they are going to address this in person. All good stuff... once this gets a week or two of action in place, then maybe we discuss a kickstarter or gofundme type of campaign. In the meanwhile, lets focus on helping a member of our community and not bitter attacks against each other. We all have passionate opinions here, and those arent going to go away, but is all of that infighting going to help them? if you support them do so, if you dont then let it go. ...
