Oh so ther is MORE cost associated with this stinking thing? It doesn't come with the card...that is rubbish!
here in canada its like 60 bucks a year for the online access... that doesnt mean he cant just sit in basement and play by himself wiht the thing, but i think thats whats the big draw with this thing. you get to play with your friends with out them even coming over..so like for call of duty 4 you can have up to 8 people on a team playing against like whoever...from where ever...blah blah blah

Not the same thing. You need to hook up your Xbox360 to your WAN connection. The Xbox Live fees are membership fees on top of your internet fees.

He doesn't play a whole lot which again is why I wondered why he even wanted it...but like I said...he says he wants it...he most likely gets it. I don't mind his friends coming over that much. It actually allows me to get to watch what I want to watch on TV
