If only at TTR for 4 days I would say save the Xplor excursion for when you come back for longer....and you will be back!
Yeah, where a short trip you probably don't want to leave a full day. There is a nighttime Xplore park. So maybe you could get some of the day in, and then be back for the later part of the night too.
we did the Xplor excursion once. The ziplines were a lot of fun. The lunch we very good. The ATV riding was a bust. But we own ATVs and live in the desert with unlimited trails and washes to ride so we are biased. They govern theirs way back so they are slow and you only ride one lap around a lame trail. There is one cenote which you paddle through on a kayak that part was ok. We did a tour once that went to 4 different cenote and we liked it a lot better. Each of the cenotes were different. Some you zip line in and swim, one you repel into and swim and one you walk in and kayak.
