Air Canada...I was shocked. Similar flight with Westjet was $1200 more. We are flying out of Stoon to Toronto 8pm flight, overnight in Toronto with a 9 am flight to Cancun. Arrive around 12pm Cancun time. This way you split up your travel time getting there and you are up in the air for approximately 1.5 hours more, but have most of the day left to enjoy.
have u checked cheaptickets.com (owned by orbitz) they have a $150 off package deals code (can find on internet search)... when we were looking that was the best prices and then the 150 worked out even better. i don't work for them or care if u order or not - just letting you know as another canadian this was the best deal we found at the time. we used westjet so not like it was some crazy airline haha hope that helps some - i found prices were much different depending on the web site for the exact same stay / flights... hate finding out i over spent lol
Things to keep in mind when shopping and quoting prices ( CDN here),, a lot of the sites being mentioned are in USD. ( or Europe) When CDN's book with a CDN Co we are protected with TICO A lot of time we book months in advance and lose the cancellation option with CC on foreign sites , so your SOL if problems arise. Some sites reserve the rite to send you to an equivalent alternative hotel with no repercussions.( Fun and Sun Getaways ) with TICO our funds are secure.
We had a great experience with Expedia last year. Had some issues with our room and ended up getting a refund from Expedia because of it. This still seems to be the best price I can find right now for the time we are going - from Saskatchewan anyway.
Just booked last week on Expedia.ca for Jan 30, 2015, the price was too good to pass up. It was thru Sunquest. Goes from London to Chicago to Cancun. Wife and I are looking forward to coming back for our 3rd time
