Expanding on the Great Alpharooms.com thread started earlier today

I was saying that the people who sell the premier memberships are the ones that are upset about these prices not the actually members. as they told me this morning that at these prices they won't be able to sell the memberships because of the price differences. trust me they weren't happy this morning when they saw the people talking about the great deals they got on facebook that is why they had a meeting with Temptations mangement this morning

Just as a follow-up....

Yes the overall hotel was not happy with the prices when they came out. They have lots of in place contracts for minimum pricing on the rooms and the owner was livid to say the least!

On the bright side the folks at Premiere said that if Premiere members booked at that price that they would still be treated as Premiere members and get the bands and amenities that go with it. They feel just because you are Premiere you should be excluded from a deal like this.

The reservations made will be honored as the provider is paying the normal rate to the hotel and eating the cost difference.

So enjoy! Now if we can only get this type of deal for next May!

I just went on to check the prices and it is not coming back with that deal when I search for availability. Should I call them and get them to honor the price or is it already gone?

 

You should definitely give it a shot, but people were reporting that the deal was over. We were going to use it to expand our stay, until I found out Expedia was going to charge us $150 per person to change our flight to a couple of days later.

 

You missed it and will never see anything like that again.

Glad I jumped on it. So did a bunch of our friends. I only wish I would have booked more rooms than I did. But rocktober is going to be a blast!
