Back on track tomorrow .. Took a easy going weekend !! Hard weekend got a family dinner yesterday. So yeah !
Gotta say I've been apart of this thread since day one.. and sick and tired of do this.. do that.. sob will someone please come up with a pill that will fix us all... WTF This works for that person and not for the other.. we struggle... and the worst is failure... but then what is failure... cause you say so or i say so... this battle is bullshit... either live healthy or not.. your decision.. smoke.. don't smoke.. quit drinking wine..lose weight..what the f%&k is the point of living...I'm going to do what makes me happy.. and F&^cK anyone at TTR thinks I'm fat... cause i am fat and thats who I am... LOL Rock on People and do whats good for you... be happy cause this is a short ride... enjoy it while you can... Peace...
............factually.....smoking raises your metabolism.........now quitting smoking is in your best interest long term............but when if you quit.......expect to gain weight. Hate to say it that bluntly..........but facts are facts. Stoping smoking in itself will lower your metabolism Cardio is good for you.....good for a heathy heart and lungs.......but not going to help you lose a ton of weight. Building lean muscle mass will be a key for you. It will raise your metabolism...........then keep it up with a post work out protein intake. Try 30+/- grams within 30 mins post workout. Monitor your Leptin levels ............especially women. Lowering leptin levels in women that are dieting are notorious for causing weight loss plateaus......and dieting frustration. Now.............it'd be in you best interest to consult a dietician and a personal trainer for all of this. All of us have their own method of getting you to your goal.
Here's another point to ponder ..........your scales are going to vary from day to day. If you wake up one day or 3 and you weigh a pound or 2 more Than the day or 3 before...............unless you have really gone nuts eating and drinking.......it's likely at least in part a water weight gain. And a pound gained or lost equates to aprox 3,500 calories. So to gain a pound (of fat) one day and lose it the next day or two means a 7,000 calorie variation! That's simply not humanly possible..........
