so, I have been doing really well this week on food and exercise.. officially have 5 pounds left to go on jenny.. then i am on my own again.. woo whooo!!!!... I know that its not going to be an easy 5 pounds.. that last 5 is the worst..
Way to go Kim. You can do it. Currently I am stuck but I started to run again today ( that felt good)and I wrote myself a new weightlifting program and I am hitting the weights hard. I am still shrinking but I am stuck at that weight. I know it's just a matter of time before the weight changes too. Either I am sticking with it. I am tanning and starting to get a base as well. Just curious, when you sign up for Jenny you sign up by how many pounds you want to lose? :aktion025:
well i am not sure how that works right now.. because I have a life time membership.. i just go back and start buying food... its a bit pricey.. but it is good food.. you can have things like chocolate brownie.. which i had tonight.. sounds crazy right.. lol but it works.. and you don't have to feel like you cant ever have any treats.. you can go on the jc site and find out how it currently works.. but with what you are doing .. i am sure it will start again ... one trick that has helped me in the past is no bread or starchy veggies for 5 days.. not sure if you are having bread .. but .. it will do the trick i bet..
Love this thread!!! I've been working hard to get in better shape for our trip to TTR in March. That's how it started out at least. I've been doing a bootcamp class 3 days a week for an hour and rockclimbing on the off days. I've actually had a lot of fun, and I feel like I'm toning up nicely!! Haven't been able to bring myself to diet though =p I love my food! Ash
Love food too, but it has to be in moderation, and when I've let myself go like I did this time because of surgery, etc....I've had to make sure my diet is much more in line. Have a real good cheat day each week! We are now booked about 90 days out. That really helps keep us motivated. Down to 230 now. 22 pounds down since the first. Still a long ways to go to get back to were I was in the summer. GCPSgirl is coming along nicely. Still weak in the right arm from the car accident, but she's adding weight to her lifting regime. We are on target, lol. Just lily white, lol.
i started my diet middle of Jan this year and lost almost 15lbs of fat and kept lean muscle by just cutting alcohol (for now) and eating salad instead of carbs for dinner. this weekend will be my first time drinking again since i gotta boost up my tolerance for my trip in 2.5weeks!! lol
