I do the p90x work out part Jess, I never take pills to ehance fat burn. Their is also a diet, it's not bad but I also tend to do my own thing there too. I like the work outs though, it pushes me to take it farther.
Last year I lost 57 pounds and gained 58. Of course, my high and low were only 7 lbs apart, but it's a never ending battle!
I just bought a Fitbit Force today with a gift card I had to help keep myself accountable. Anyone else use a Fitbit?
I just started using MyFitnessPal along with my Fitbit. I'm tracking my food now because if I don't, I just eat whatever, whenever. So far so good! Two days in a row under my calorie goal which is set to lose 1.5 lbs/week.
MyFitnessPal is my saviour. If I don't count the calories, I go way over, especially at the weekend. It's taking me forever to plan meals at the moment, but if I don't weigh out and count every single calorie before I eat it, I forget and then stop tracking and end up with a weight gain, again. I finally plucked up the courage to weigh in today. I'm back to pre-TTR and Christmas weight (well 1lb lighter in fact) which is good. It's like starting afresh and I can look forward now, rather than knowing I was carrying all those holiday lbs.
I am having a super rough week. Hot flashes every 1/2 hr day and night. I am tired, and worn out. I am still trying to work out but I am having a hard time wanting to make myself sweat more. Fighting through it 2 months 3 weeks and 5 days to go.
Well crap....between going back to school and the holidays I've really screwed up the body I worked so hard on!!! Time to get back to work!!! TTR in May....gotta get this butt in gear!
2 spin classes so far this week ... 2 more this weekend... Then it's time to fly south ... TTR in 3 sleeps !!
35 minutes on the elliptical and gonna get some weights in tonight. 4 hours of shopping. It's a good day.
