    I know how you feel - it's the same for me. It shouldn't be an excuse, but it kind of is at the moment. I'm still exercising at least 4 times every week (air con in the gym), but diet is totally out of control. I'm keeping within my calorie limits in the week, but I'm struggling at the weekend.

    For example, last weekend I was out for a meal on Friday, then had two BBQs I felt obliged to attend on Saturday and Sunday! It's rare we get an extended period of hot sunshine like this, and I have no will power to be the only person at a function not drinking or eating delicious treats. The weather is sending me into 'holiday mode' i.e. I get an overwhelming Desire to snack on picnic/BBQ food and drink beer/wine in the garden. I'm convinced I'm retaining more water too, feel like my hands and feet have swelled in the heat.

    Let's just say I'm not looking forward to weighing in tomorrow morning. I've been glancing during the week and the results aren't good :(

    I know it's so hard not to enjoy this weather cos we don't get much of it . BBQ are one of the worse sausage burgers ribs ice cold beer and u can't just have one beer that would be rude !!

    Am going weight watchers in 1 hour see if that will work again for me I hope so got some dresses I want to get in :)

    My pool was at 80 friday it's at 94 this morning :(

    K I know I haven't been here for a bit. Been stuggling for sure and trying ot get work outs in, still feeling a little sick. Anyways I know it's time to start making a difference.
    Cancun coming up and I am hating my body right now. Yep all my fault but definitely fixable.

    Down another 2 lbs which puts me back to my April TTR weight... Again lol.

    I discovered the awesomeness of trx yesterday and will be doing a lot more of it for my workouts

    well at least im down 6 lbs. slow but need to work out. both hubby and i are hating the 3 digit temps. right now. it really does make it hard to go sweat, when you do that just sitting!!!! but have to make a difference by oct. alot of toning up here. but i will. too much to wear not to fit into it!!!

    Well I knew it'd be bad...4lbs back on again! I seem to have one good week, always closely followed by a bad week. Great to be able to vent on here though. If I'm honest and post my awful gains here it really hits home when I'm not putting in enough effort with the diet. I honestly think exercise-wise I'm there: I'm working out most mornings for at least 40 mins and often a bit longer, either in the gym, swimming or playing badminton.

    Trish.. Try changing up your diet.. They say weight loss is 80% in the kitchen and 20% in the gym..

    I've been dropping at least a pound a day for 8 days straight now.. I modified what I was doing previously and saw losses pretty quickly..

    1200 calories sweat out so far this week and I lost 1 1/2 lbs!

    I won't make my "goal" weight for my TTR trip next week but I will be within 5 lbs of it. I need to remember how far I have come and not what could've been, right?

    Trish, we sound a lot alike. Working out isn't my problem, it's that I get completely derailed and become crazy party/eating girl on the weekends, then spend the week working it off. I'm pushing hard because I am going to TTR in a week, but will be really focused when I get back because football season (lots of tailgating) starts in late August and I want to look good!
