    Ok guys....got through my spin class last night...barely. LOL. I seem to have an issue with foot cramps nearly every class, and legs cramps during other activities. Thought I made it through scott-free last night until about 8 minutes before the end of class. LOL. I struggled through it and finished, but it put a damper on adding any lunges or squats to my routine.

    Today's another day! Will aim to get those done from home tonight, along with donkey kicks and sit-ups. Fingers crossed! :p

    ....potassium...ad potassium, eat 2 bananas every other day for a week, then one every other day during your workouts, and drink 10, 8oz glasses of water every day, just clean clear water!

    Stacia -- judging from your pictures, I would say that you have nothing to worry about! You look great just as you are. Sorry we couldn't meet you, since Linda had an attack of bad shoulder, so we had to cancel our trip. :-(

    Feeling better today, I got up workout, ate well and now I just have to repeat it again tomorrow and so on and so on. Maybe it will become contagious.

    Slept in this morning, but still busted out a good little workout of some running cardio, pushups, pull ups, and squats... I need to do more fast workouts...

    Someone who didn't run since my
    High school :) on an unlaved road
    Never easy ;:p

    To me two bananas is a little overkill, but water water water water I agree with. Drink until you can't drink anymore... Rule of thumb.. If you aren't peeing clear, you aren't drinking enough water..

    I would recommend a banana about 30-60 minutes before your workout.

    Since the problem started, I eat one banana about an hour before my classes and I've added lots and lots of water. I figured the same thing....potassuim and/or dehydration. Unfortunately, I'm not seeing any difference. Will try adding a multi-vitamin back into my diet and see if that helps (more potassuim). We'll see.

    The veggie smoothies seem to have worked wonders for me. I'm no longer craving those bad carbs! The past couple of days have been the first I've had where I've not had really bad cravings for every type of bad fast food, chocolate and fried food you can think of. Now I come home from work and I'm excited about eating the good stuff I've got in my cupboard, not grumpy that I'm 'depriving' myself of those sweet/starchy empty calories.

    Signed up to MyFitnessPal yesterday and some things really surprised me. First off, because I'm big, I'm actually burning off a lot more calories than I thought I was each workout. Figures: I'm carrying a lot more weight than your average gym enthusiast, and my heart has to work a lot harder to get my ass moving! The other surprise was that I'm not eating nearly enough for the level of activity I'm doing on a regular basis. Apparently a reason I'm not losing weight could be that my body is going into starvation mode. Even though I've changed my diet to a healthy one, it's not providing enough substance. If I was sat on my ass every day like I used to be, then what I'm eating would generally be enough, but it's not when you add up all the exercise as well.

    It feels strange having to add food when I'm so used to trying to cut down, but I'm going to give it a go for a week and see if adding 500 or so extra calories from healthy foods helps me see a better loss on the scales. If it doesn't, I'll keep switching things up until I find something that works.
