    I struggle with diet. I seem to be able to do one or the other. If I work out a lot, I struggle to keep what I eat in check. If I'm stringent with the diet, I've no energy to work out. My plan is to introduce each a little bit more each day. Gym in the morning is helping somewhat - by the time I get to evening I've forgotten I've already done my workout for the day!

    Well the hot flashes are finally stopped for a little while and I managed to gain the 7 lbs I lost since I got back. WTF, I just have to keep plugging away at it. It's amazing how fast you gain weight when you can't sleep.
    Sleeping again.............awwwwwwwwwwwwwww thank god, maybe now I can get some energy to do the workouts.

    I've been avoiding this thread... I've gained 5lbs since back from TTR.. and I agree WTF.. In my case though I have to say I really haven't been doing anything.. and haven't been watching what I eat.. However I guess its time to get back with it... I think in my case its depression... I so want to be back at TTR. Everyday life isn't nearly as fun..

    I had a bad weekend as far as eating.. but the weekend its self was fun.. lol have gained a bit but also didnt work out.. back on the horse!!

    OK, this isn't quite exercising "together," but it does sort of count in a temporal sense, if not geometrically-spatially....

    I just, 20 mins ago, got back in from a 6-mile run. No special event, just training, Getting on the "plan" to run off, literally, the beer keg attempting to take over my used-to-be flat middle. Running works for me, once I get up to an average of ~25 miles/week, I start dropping weight relatively quick, headed towards as if I were an albino Kenyan.

    Meanwhile, Stacia's tearing up that 20-minute shred video on an atleast 4 days/week schedule, going to pole classes, lunging around her store, etc. We'll see how we "do," come August, eh?

    35 minutes on the elliptical, 15 minutes abs, 15 minutes shoulders and back. 10 minutes all legs.

    i really need to get back in the game... Did 2 miles on the elliptical this morning... No AC in the gym SUCKS because its preventing me from doing my 2 a days...

    Hey John. welcome to the thread!.. sounds like your on the right track .. while a few of us (mainly me)spin our wheels then cry when its time to TTR.. haha! we do some bitching and complaining and pouting.. but we are here for each other with support and sometimes a get off you butt and do it, kind of attitude..:icon_wink:

    I went to a new gym last night called anytime fitness..cant say I was impressed and didnt get a good workout in because I was showing my daughter how to use the equipment etc. its co-ed and has 2 bathrooms and 2 showers.. thats crazy if you want to go to work from the gym..think ill stick to my spa lady.. its a real gym.. lol

    Anytime is where we go... I like the 24 hour aspect of it, and at our gym, I've never had to wait more than 3-5 minutes for a shower... There are 2 bathrooms at our gym as well.
