well summer is here!! went to the lake last weekend caought fish, no tan got cloudy. have alot of work to do to get ready for halloween. going to make it happen!!
Ok first goal done with, under 200 lbs for the first time in 23 years, now just 9 1/2 lbs to go, but don't think I will lose any weight on vacation unless I get a lot of exercise. :ernaehrung005: Paul
Got a great workout in this morning..I might do a bit of cardio tonight if its still nice out when I get home from work..Im down 2.3 lbs.. Deb!!,, hahaha!
Got in a couple of good workouts yesterday, and a 45 minute workout this morning. Dikfore and I will be back at the gym tonight to try out another new workout. I've been doing really good with my diet so far, granted it's only day 3. Lol. And I'm down 4.4 pounds already this week! Only 5.6 to go until I'm back at my pre-TTR weight. Then I've got another 20+ to go before Labor Day. It never ends!!!
30 minutes on the elliptical and 20 minutes all abs. I was still pretty soar yesterday from p90x chest and back. It's better today so maybe I will get more in later. Off to work with my ass.
I did a 40 minute walk tonight with my 15 year old daughter...great way to get some quality time.. no tv, computers or phones.. she managed..lol
I'm trying a new strategy. I'm joining a gym close to work, the plan being that I'll leave the house 2 hours earlier than usual, and have time for a 1-hour workout every weekday morning. Trying to exercise after work has proved fruitless in that I'm tired and hungry and low motivation that late in the day. There's a new gym opened close to where I work, and it has a pool. I prefer swimming to exercise machines. They have a membership plan that discounts for 'day pass' only (can only use facilities 7am - 5pm), so going to give it a go with a month or so membership and see how it pans out.
I workout at the gym before work..all my good intentions for working out at night never happens.. unless its an occasional walk..once you get going on the morning its actually great.. and once you get to work and realize that you have your workout done for the day you wont have to stress about it for the rest of the day.. I really like it.. but.. for me i have to get up at 5am to make it happen and i am in bed no later than 10pm.. if im not in bed at that time.. forget it.. I cant get up that early.. haha.. good luck.. the gym gets addictive!
