wow.. 25 lbs is awesome .. and congrats on the new healthy living.. sounds a lot like my own story. my biggest change is working out.. I went back and read my first post when i started this thread.. how much i hated working out.. now I love it .. that is defiantly a positive change in my life.. welcome to the thread..keep us posted..:aktion033:
I've been sick for the past few days so I forced myself to workout yesterday, before I fell totally out of the routine. We spent a little over an hour at the gym yesterday. Did the personal trainer workout and ran about a mile on the treadmill. It was a little rough but it felt good to do something. I was tired of feeling like a lazy slug. Lol
Need your input if possible. I've been working out 4/5 days a week since December and things are going good. My biggest fear is being in china and India for 17 days prior to my TTR trip. Since I have never been there, I have no idea how the food situation and the workouts will go. Anyone been there to know which foods to really stay away from?. I know Chinese food is big on MSG. I don't want to bloat up and lose all of the progress that I've made.
I have never been but i have had authentic Chinese food and while they eat different things than I would they eat very healthy I think, They dont eat what we buy as Chinese food... what we are use to is there version of fast food.. they eat very fresh. I think that you will be able to make good decision for food there.. i don't see the Asian and Indian society as having the obesity issues that the Americans and Canadians do..
Real Chinese food doesn't use msg.. the food is actually really fresh and good. And India... well anything you eat there is just gonna go right through you, so you'll be fine there too lol Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
Just got back from a 2 mile run in the great outdoors. Not a bad start. I'm feeling pretty good about being able to run the full 5k in 2 weeks. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk 2
Carol get yourself a elastic band so you can keep up the strength routine in your hotel room and walk alot and you should be fine. I love indian food. Try the kurry, lemon chicken, (the girls from work bring in alot and it's good) I don't think it's super fattening.Stay away from all the deep fried. Picturing Carol in a turban playing music to tame the men's snakes At TTR. lol Sorry interupted by disturbing thoughts. hahaha.
Lots of injuries but alot of people I have taking blood from often suffer a brain injury during the crash. Glad to see you didn't get that but those injuries sound so painful. Are you gonna get on a bike again?
