when i need to burn some fat fast i usually do some interval cardio training... i prefer treadmill.... do one minute jogging.. then one minute sprinting...one minute jogging.. then one minute sprinting... continue doing this for about 15 - 20 minutes and i garantee u will be dripping in swet !...i usually do it for 15 or 16 minutes... if your feeling energetic... do it TWICE! ... works for me everytime ! .. oh and ofcourse.. cut the carbs .. im getting cancun ready !

A great alternative for those who can"t run,for whatever reason, is a Schwinn Airdynne... Very old school & low-tech but a real tank of an exer-bike that when used for interval training (Like Tabata Intervals...the best!) will drive that heart rate as high as U can take with NO impact on the sensitive areas... YES, No smart ass commentary from us this time. Sometimes, we can just be trainers & not comedians... Remember, Better to Limp Out than Wimp Out!
I took some of this week off except for Zumba on Thursday. I tried Zumba on Tuesday and got the WORST pain ever. It was the same pain I had after recovering from my surgery/cardiac arrest incident. I nearly fainted.... i got so scared that I went to the ER. They only did one test and said that I need to go see the surgeon that did my surgery, not the hospital. I'm sorry but I'm not going back to someone who was neglectful and practically murdered me. (They messed up my surgery/anesthesia and medicine dosage horribly which caused me to go into cardiac arrest) I'd rather die that go back there. lol Anywho! We had a 2 hour Zumba glow party last night! It was sooo fun! I had to take a break for a song or two because my pain starting creeping up on me. I just listened to my body as best as I could! Thats about 1600-2400 calories down! Did Zumba this morning, another 8-1200 calories. Then I did the elliptical for 30 minutes and then a 5 minutes cooldown. 481.6 calories burned! I killed myself on that thing though! lol. Loved it! Had the incline on 10 and the resistance upto 15-16 for at least half of the time. I was pouring BUCKETS of sweat! lol. My towel that I use is pretty big. It's one of those Zumba towels. The whole towel was soaked! OMG I LOVE sweating. I LOVE working out and I LOVE dancing! lol. I'm turning into such a gymrat!
Slept in a bit this morning so all I got in was 25 mins of weights, lower body, & core exercises & 40 mins of cardio. I had plans of doing more when I got home from work but it was a nightmare of a day and my feet are killing me. I'm hoping for 2-3 hours tomorrow and Zumba on Monday if my foot can handle it... Weighed in and I'm down another 1.1 lb! It's coming off slowly but I guess it's better than nothing...
did 25 mins on elliptical and 20 mins on the bike last night... Then this afternoon i did 30 mins on the elliptical, another 30 on the bike, and then another 10 on the elliptical... Tomorrow im gonna try for 90 mins total. edit: oh and more importantly, finally broke through the plateau... Down 3 lbs today!!
Friday's weigh in = down 2.5 lbs this week. Down 4 form Jan3. Now I just have to not screw it up this weekend and keep it going. I THINK I CAN, I THINK I CAN. hoping my littLE engine keep it going.
I did not workout today.. I woke up this morning with a cold coming on.. grrrrrrr,,, I wont be sick, I wont be sick.. I took 1000 units of vitamin C this morning and took it easy for the day and i will take the vitamin C again tomorrow morning .. i hope it helps.. everyone sounds like they are doing awesome for the challenge.. keep up the great work!!
