wow!! we were thinking of changing gyma. but not now. they have all new equipment, plus its never really crowded. even better they now have zumba 3 times a week in the evenings!! i cant wait to try that. i love to dance!! and the music ive heard in vidios that they play while doing it i like!! so dance listen to good music and get in shape!! cant beat that!! life is good.
thanks for the help, I|m thinking that 60g might be a bit high but I am sooo sick of my food.. haha.. this will let me add a bit more variety.. also if i have a one day a week having higher calories it sets off an eating fest for the whole weekend.. haha! and the weight from that jumps up pretty fast.. just seems that if i don't stay 100% strict i don't loose at all.. I also think that 60g of carbs is too high but i thought id give it a chance.. I read that 50 to 100g of carbs is kind of a sweet spot for weight lose.. guess we will see.. so far....not so good.. lol
Partydollgirl- I'm on mfp too, you can add me my username is danibu98 How is your dad doing? Let's see, I posted that I worked out Monday (that was my bday!) and then Tuesday had a work event (fancy beer dinner) and I went over by 1,000 cals. I figured it would be around this # but I wasn't freaking out. Old me would've gone over by 1500 and not logged the next day or the day after because I "blew it" and that is exactly what my mom said to me when I saw her after the dinner Tuesday night. Grrr. I did NOT blow it, I just need to work harder over the next few days to equalize it. So, I worked out extra hard and came in 600 cals under yesterday. Now I've got 4 more days to stay on track and come in another 400 cals under to be on my goal of losing 1 lb/week. That sounds doable I am so glad I am doing this now for our July trip, I can't wait to see my body start to change! D
I know what u mean about weight jumping after eating carbs. I guess im in the opposite boat because i love waking up sunday after having pizza or pasta as my cheat meal the day before. I litterally see my weight go up 4 or 5 lbs overnight. But i also look a lot better in the mirror. If u go a long time with no carbs and have them all of a sudden a lot of ur weight will be water and glycogen than has now been stored in ur muscles for energy. I hate how flat any bit of muscle i have looks by friday after going low carb since sunday.....but, my weight drops right back down by tuesday so i know its working. If ur weight isnt dropping back down quick after your cheat weekends then ya...ur probably pretty carb sensitive if ur gaining fat back.
it does go down some over the next couple days but it take me all week to get it all off.. so that means no lose for the week.. I am really thinking that 60g is to much of a jump.. becuase I "am" very! very! sensitive to carbs. I felt great on 20g and in ketosis but i just got soo sick of the food..lol so as I type this.. I really think I should try to get back into ketosos and do it right.. bring my carbs up slowly and find my number.. back to steak and eggs.. haha! :aktion061:
I followed a program like that a while ago. Didnt work as well for me but that just goes to show how everyone is different and u have to find whats right for u. I do remember that one of the best parts was that i was eating jello non stop. Lol. Really helped with the sweets cravings
Got in an hour and 45 minute workout today. It's been getting a lot easier so I hardly notice how much time has gone by. I need to start switching things up a bit so I'm planning on starting Zumba again on Monday. Hopefully my foot will cooperate... And I really need to get back to the gym but after working out in the morning and being on my feet all day, the last thing I want to do is work out when I leave. I've tried going before work but I hate having to get ready there... :icon_confused: Weighed in this morning. This is my third day at the same weight. I'm glad I'm not gaining but it's irritating me that it's not going down. Maybe I just need to change the batteries. lol
I'll show up for that. Hopefully she'll give us some new exercises to try. Louis' same old shit every time we went bored the hell outta me.
GO GIRL!!! My only thought is that I've learned from a few different nutritionist that you need to consume at LEAST 1500 calories a day. If not.... your body goes into starvation mode and actually starts to store fat. I also learned that in college so I assume its true! If it's working for you then great! Just thought I would share that. It may help? not sure! <3
