OUCH... I'm a hurtin albertan this am.. can feel my biceps..LOL thats funny... I feel my thighs... Ohh Jeez Partydollgirl I hope your dad is ok.. and I think I'm hurting...duh I may try the Jimcarrie idea... but again right now walking or strutting around my house is a bikini...oh that is just too funny...however that could be the incentive I need..hmmm you could be on to somthing..walking around in a bikini or even really tight clothes..like I don't have a few of those LOL, I bet i would think twice about that whatever I'm thinking about eating... and spend more time working out..interesting.. Oh and as far as my scale we are not speaking I won't even look at it (the bitch)... its on my shit list. And everyone is allowed a day off... well except me.. I've been loafing around while you all been busting your butts.
Thats good! Eating the right foods will increase your energy and make you feel better overall! lol me personally I don't believe in diets. I love to eat. I don't go crazy but I do eat whatever I want when I'm hungry.
I think that is the key.. I heard the term emotional eater the other day and realized I'm one!!! When I'm stressed, bored, sad, angry.. the key is to only eat when I'm hungry, so when I'm emotional I'll just drink.. :ernaehrung005:LOL
I usually take Saturday off from working out and allow myself a cheat night on Sundays to shock my system. Then I typically end up losing an extra lb or 2 after. I've been having a hard time with boredom hunger lately but so far I haven't cheated... but it's been sooo hard. I got in a 90 min workout this morning and it felt really good. No loss or gain today so I'm pretty happy about that.
I am doing low carb, and I track on my fitness pal.. I set up my goals to track.. 1200 calories per day 20% carbs= 60g 45% protine= 135g 35% fat= 47g and workout a minimum of 3 days a week but usually 5 days. 3 days are weights and 2 day cardio.. I was only at 20 carbs per day and did really well for 6 weeks before TTR in October and dropped 12 lbs.. but now.. its not working .. so i am experimenting a bit with my carbs and have increased them to 60g a day. i am hoping this will help with the cheats on the weekend. any thoughts or advise?
Really good day to cancel work and training. It's friggin cold out. Not sure what your guys are getting but -28 with windshield here.
Well got in my shovelling snow workout, now I am going to do the real one. the diet is super good today so now I just have to make it through super with a good meal and the whole day is awsome.
Well I had a awsome workout, the DJ played all my favorite songs on the radio and didn't interupt it with stupid comercials. Love the 5:00 pm traffic jam as he calls it. Ended up burning an extra 100 calories just cause I liked the music.
Hey all, I've been creeping this thread a bit and I'm pretty impressed how commited most people are. It's awesome. I posted a while ago when I first started getting ready for our trip (3 weeks away now!!!) Since July I am down 15 lbs in weight, however I have gone from 26% bodyfat to currently 13%. Would love to hit the 10% mark and see some abs show though nicely, but i can't compain. Overall I have lost about 26lbs fat and gained 11lbs of muscle. Anyways, I just wanted to say that like you I'm doing really low carbs right now. I'm around 250g protein, 45g carbs, and about 30g healthy fats (mainly from fish oil, CLA, and natural peanut butter). The one thing i do though which you may want to consider is to have some extra carbs and protein right after you do your weights. So for you that would only be 3 times a week. For myself,I mix 44grams gatorade powder with a scoop of vanilla protein (27g protein, 44g carbs). Right after working out your muscles will be begging for nutrition and having this will help you to hopefully build some more muscle if not atleast retain while you are on low calories. I've been following this plan for 2 weeks now (doing it for 4) and have lost 4lbs per week. Not gaining any more muscle at this point it seems but I'm not losing any either. Having a couple days of higher calories will help to keep your metabolism from slowing down too much as well.....I go out for dinner once a week with Kelly and eat whatever i want at that one sitting
