well got a very nice supprise this morning. scale whispered sweet nothings at me, 2lbs!!! yep i will take it! ok that is still along ways yet, bet better than a kick in the shorts!!! i have felt thinner, but the scale hadnt moved. ha ha ha happy dance here too.
Here's wishing my scale would sepak anything on a positive note. I am hoping it warms up here so I can start adding walks at lunch. Today is -25 not going in this crap. On the up side I did get a good workout in at home in my gym. 40 minutes on the elliptical and 30 minutes weights. I have lost inches but not enough lbs for what I am doing.
hey who wouldnt take more inches? ha ha dont get down about wieght. if i am thinner i dont care what the scale says! they have been known to be liers!!!
Hey Monique, you work out more than anyone I know and I cant believe you are not loosing any weight. I think you said that you track what you eat and count calories as well, Im thinking there must be something else going on here girl.. have you had your thyroid checked, hormones .. you talk about hot flashes maybe it could be sugar spikes or drops as well.. If I worked out like you do.. Id never have to worry about what I ate..
Yep i have had blood work done, all perfect except the hormones. My hypoglycemia is under control and I hardly ever have sugar spikes. I think my body is just so used to working out that it takes double workouts or extreme workouts to make stuff happen. With the knee going to extreme is not possible right now. I am gonna start p90x again as I get good results with that program. Anyways with that said I am off to kick a little more bootie in the gym. Already shovelled so guess this is sort of a second work out. All I can do it it keep at it until something gives.
I'm about to work out today! I weighed in today too, lost another pound. It's coming off slowly, but it's going down!
Have to remember if you're working out a lot and losing inches then you have lost weight in the form of fat. The scale may show the same or even more cause you've gained muscle! Muscle weighs more than fat & I'll take losing inches anyway over a number on the scale!!!
