I'm down 6 lbs in a week and a half or so! Holy crap! I don't like losing this much this fast, but I'll take it. I just need to stick with it. I had my cheat day today and went for all you can eat sushi for lunch. We didn't eat nearly as much as we normally do though and I didn't get anything deep fried. Yummy! You have to treat yourself sometimes. Off to the gym later for a run and some weight lifting!
Do it!! I'll post a before picture so you're not alone! This is the most recent full body pic I have of me. It's from October 26. I've been at the same weight since then until I started changing my diet and working out over the past couple of weeks, so it's pretty much accurate. I don't have an after yet though. Way too soon for that! So here's my motivation. Must follow up with an after pic. lol Eep...sorry the pic is so huge!
wow then 6lbs!! you dont look like you have very far to go. stick with it. i will brave the camera today. no laughing people, i hate the way i look right now. but i feel good.
Oh you're sweet! lol That dress must hide it well, because ideally I'd like to lose another 60 lbs. Not before our trip...but eventually! I bet you look great! Sometimes it's hard to really see our own progress when we're losing weight. Glad you feel good though!
Huh? It's getting thicker as Glenn loses weight?? What a great deal. Make him drop 100 lbs and you'll have some real fun, Monique!
Well can't wait to see a pic of you in a month. Happy days ahead I suspect. You go girl. I positively hate the way I look right now so not even sure I would have the guts to take a full body pic let alone post it here. I wish I was a brave.
Lol Karen I think I was asking a question. Never notice extreme girth with Glenn's weightloss. Hahaha but hell I would say No No.
Wooohooo! Got on the scale today and it didn't hate me. Only 1-2 lbs off my lowest. Did another hour on the eliptical yesterday and followed-up with another 5 km run and an 8 minute ab workout today. Still making good eating choices - all but a couple cans of ginger ale. I had an idea. I found that finding recipes that are healthy and I really enjoy eating has made this transition a lot easier. They also have to be recipes that fit into my lifestyle meaning easy and quick to make. I believe when you first start, it is difficult to give up the food that you know (and love) even though you know they are not helping your cause. Finding healthy, quick and easy alternatives is difficult, but once you find them - life gets way better. Anyway, I would be happy to trade some of my finds for some of yours. Let me know. In the meantime, keep it up everyone. As for me "daddy wants a six pack for his birthday in June" We all need goals and that is mine.
well should have that pic. up later today. just waiting for weekend company to go home so i can brave it. im hopeing that it will help me push myself a little. still would like to try for april. just got to talk phil into it!
