p90x Does this get any "easier"?! I started [ame="http://www.Amazon.com/gp/product/B000TG8D6I/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B000TG8D6I&linkCode=as2&tag=cancuncare-20"]p90x last week and with full knowledge of how hard it would be, I was doing a precursor by running 1/2hr on the elliptical and a 10min ab ripper everyday. I was feeling good after 1 week and down 3lbs but after 2 nights on the town instead of working out this past weekend back up the 3. Back to square 1 I guess.
Stick with it...the weight does not matter as much as the inches. AND sorry, the beer negates anything that you do....had to give it up....the [ame="http://www.Amazon.com/gp/product/B000TG8D6I/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B000TG8D6I&linkCode=as2&tag=cancuncare-20"]p90x diet works wonders too...just started it again for the third time in two years...we love p90x, p90x2 and insanity...I supplement with zumba, spinning, running and precor too....the extra helps too
if your are going to drink alcohol your week will be like mine was in the summer.. worked hard all week to be down 2 or 3 lbs Monday to Friday.. weekend comes and id be back up 2 or 3 lbs, then i would stay strict through the week and again lose 2 or 3 lbs ..that lasted all summer.. lol you cant really drink alcohol on a diet.. especially beer. and if you do drink, drink hard liquor with a no calorie mix.. not as bad as beer but will still stop your weight loss
ok finally feel like i can start a diet thing again. has ben kinda bad. mom passed away a couple of weeks ago, hot flashes or should say hot continually, not sleeping at all. well doc has me on patches that i wear for four days then change. found the right dose. last night finally slept good except for stupid cold. have been doing good with food choices, so havent gained anything new. so now time to loose. i believe its 20 lbs. fun but nessesary. hopefully this week will feel good enough to go to gym and get with it. hollidays here at work consist of tons of junk food!! will just have to avoid that room. good luck everyone, stay strong!! not the easiest this time of year, but can be done!!
got my day 2 workout in!.. 3 sets of 12 reps. 10 lbs weights. sqats, weighted lunges, ball crunches, Ball Butt Raises, 30 reps per set bicep curls, seated Dumbbell Triceps Extension , bent over rows, dumbell over head shoulder press. DONE!!!
Just getting back at it so slow and short... but did some sit ups, crunches.. kept thinking about Janet.. 800 sit ups holy crap...LOL worked legs and arms and used the hoola hoop (spelling)
Weight can be very decieving. Especially you are going to be building muscle as well doing something like P90X. I keep track of my measurements more than anything.......July to November I went from 206 pounds with a 41 inch waist to 208 pounds with a 35 inch waist. So my weight is up 2 pounds but i lost about 16 pounds fat
Short and sweet... bit sore but some better than none...I say.. I will work up to it slowly don't want to burn myself out and quit.
