My Wife (NormaSnockers) has similar headaches... She thinks its stress too... She has headaches a lot... When we were at TTR she had pretty much none... Since we've been back, she's been starting to get them again... I'll have her look at this thread about the posture comments.. Either that or she's just saying that to avoid having sex :bj:
I never thought it was stress, but my Drs have been saying that's the issue for years... Hmmm I was topless for an entire week. Maybe it's something with my bras... And no, it's not just an excuse. I'd be on you all day if I could.
haha!.. I catch myself walking around all the time in a shrugg persay.. like I carry my shoulders up towards me ears..in a tense position.. and now that I realize I do that.. I do it a lot... lol I am getting better at realxing them but .. before I know it .. I am back to holding my shoulders up under my ears.. people cant tell Im doing that so its not like my shoulders are touching my ears.. haha but it is a shrug.. and rounded forward. its absolutly tense and locked up and not an easy thing to stop.. one thing I do is push my shoulders back and press my shoulderblades down togather.. maybe one day they will stay and the neck strain will FO.. lol oh.. sorry that was my outside voice.. lol hahah! :icon_biggrin:
Ok I give up on this diet shit.... I am not dieting any longer, I will try and make a life change and eat better.. I've been feeling crappy for a couple weeks, last night Jeff and I had steak, baked potatoe with sour cream and bacon bits, beets, and spinach a couple glasses of wine... I feel fantastic today the best i've felt in I don't know how long.. so screw the diet.... NOw please don't hate me cause I'm...chubby....LOL Love you guys and if this stuff is working for you good on you... but life is to dam short to feel crappy cause i want to lose a bunch of lbs... but I will keep trying to work out !!!!
Yeah I do that too... I'm a software developer so I'm always staring at multiple computer screens, and find myself hunching closer to the screens more... I tend to let my chair recline then lean forward which is just AWFUL posture... I'm trying to force myself to sit farther back and more upright.. Diets don't work for me... Just try to be reasonable and do portion control, and avoid the crap heavy in sugars and trans fats... That's what I'm ATTEMPTING to do lol. I've tried diets, and yes i've lost weight... But then as soon as I go off the diet, I put the weight back on. Another day at the gym yesterday... Happy I am sticking to it. Was sad I could only do 20lb arm curls... I've always had weak arms but that's nuts. And I have a slight pulled muscle in my upper abs from the weighted standing crunches... But i'll live... Can't go to the gym this weekend anyways, so i'll start back up monday...
Deb, you didnt read the book I sent you.. you could have had all of what you just described minus the potatoe. read the BOOK!! haha week one Bruce is down 7 lbs and yesterday was my first full day.. and this morning I was down the 2lbs, I went up to on the weekend.. and you can eat till your full.. trust me.. call me and I will explain the whole thing if you want. haha!

I've been eating like crap since we got back from TTR. But Monday I'm gonna force myself back into "diet" and exercise mode. I'd like to lose a bunch of weight, but mainly I just want to get in shape again.
First of all, I would only diet if losing weight was something that you wanted, I am sure your friends couldn't care less wheather you are one weight or another weight. Second, I am dieting hard and I would have the dinner that you decribe without hesitation. There is lots of good in your dinner and if you had to give up all your pleasures in life, what is the point. For me, living one way and trying to make a major change overnight is crazy. If I could make one reccomendation. Identify the one or two things that you need to change in your life to start living heathier - for me it was giving up Tim Hortons' ice caps and breakfast sandwiches for breakfast and well as soft drinks. Both were very hard to give up, I not only enjoyed them immensely, but I was addicted to the caffiene and sugar. I got head-aches and felt lke shit for a few days, but felt good afterwards and proud that I took my first step. Afterwards, I started walking and incorporated time to walk into my day. If I didn't put aside time to walk, it wouldn't have happened more often then not. That's it, I wouldn't do anymore then that. Don't stop living to lose weight.
