Well, started my holiday diet just over 4 weeks ago and am down about 7lbs so far, so down from 212lbs to 205lbs. Im pretty happy with things at the minute as, although the first few weeks are the part were you dont really see drastic changes, im definitly leaner and my waist is quite a bit smaller. My strength in the gym hasnt decreased at all which is great, even with doing HIIT cardio on the cross-trainer 6 days a week so at least that means im not loosing any muscle. Just slightly down on the endurance side of things, so to compensate ive kocked a set off each exercise compared to what id normally do. I'll still be weighing myself but im not worrying too much about the weight loss side of things, just going to play it by the mirror. Another 6 weeks of hard work then its party time! We indulge each day and have a miami and a mojito. Mojitos ain't too bad for you, just ask for them to make it with splenda. Coka light goes with almost anything. We also get the vodka too. Hard to screw it up!
Hope you don't mind me jumping in on this thread but I'm also on a weight loss journey. Been doing WW since March and am down 24 pounds...hoping to be down 40 by Oct. I have not been very active so to get to my Oct goal, I need to kick it up a notch and start exercising. Starting tomorrow...wish me luck!
Tanya, welcome to the thread...I started this thread because i wanted to loose weight and try to exercise i found lots of support and butt kicking when i needed it .. we are all on a mission here to eat healthy exercise more and loose weight before an up and coming trip.. or just to find support or to bitch about having a crappy week.. lol enjoy.. good luck
It's been a crappy week. I have been on holidays and well get bored and eat. Damm. Back to work on Monday. I wrote myself a new weight program and well no m ore excuses hitting it hard and eating good.
I'm starting my diet/exercise workout tomorrow! I need to lose 10-15 lbs before our trip to cancun in November! I know I can do this!
