For a short trip we wouldn’t recommend going out, especially if you’re already doing the Boobs Cruise. On a seven day trip we did take the ferry and drove around Isla Mujeres for a day but also missed what was described to us by our friends as an epic day in the sexy pool (let’s say a friend had dropped hundreds of rubber duckies with dares on them in the pool) and went to bed early, exhausted from our day out and missed a skinny dipping adventure with our crew! Don’t get me wrong, Isla is great! But the party is way better
There's tons to see and do in Cancun and the surrounding area. I've probably done them all, some more than once. Many are full days - early starts, late returns. So, with a short trip, I'd recommend saving tours for another time - apart from the Boobs Cruise of course Especially if you have kids and plan to return and stay at a somewhat 'different' style of hotel.
It's funny how a Sunday through Friday seems like a longer trip, but when you break it down with travel days it's really not. Thanks to everyone for the insight and it was nice to "make your acquaintance", Steve!

Don't forget you can snorkel on the Boobs Cruse. It comes early in the trip so it is not as dangerous as it sound. LOL
That's true. However, it's not the greatest location to snorkel. There are much better locations that a dedicated snorkel tour will take you to.
