For the Chicken Pizza tour if you get a few more couples that want to go you can do the private Excursion and do the stops you want. there is a thread on here of people doing it through Steve. I may look into it for the week of April 22 .
We have done Xel Ha and Tulum. Chitzen Izta looking cooler than tulum but its more of a day trip from what I remember and we didnt want to burn a day on it. Tulum has a beach which is also topless if you wish, actually one of the coolest beaches I have seen. My wife has been to XEL ha and Xcaret and she liked Xel ha better. I would suggest if you go get the all inclusive package as it includes snorkel gear, food and drinks. And if you gont get it by the time you buy food, snorkel gear, bikes etc, it would cost more. Another trick if you go threw the resorts for this your going to end up paying about another $50 upcharge. Here is a little trick, if you walk out to the road look for the white government taxis, rides cost about $5 to go to any of these, and youll save 40-$60 per couple. I would reccomend the taxi to tulum as you can leave whenever you please and walk the ruins at your leisure and if you want to do the beach you can stay. The trips that you pay for usually have a guide to Tulum, but Tulum is about the size of two football fields not that huge, and if you want to, there are plenty of guided trips that if you want to listen in quick on something you can.

Isla Mujeres is a great day trip, we're going thier agine anyone else going dureing april 12-18? always more fun in a group. tulum is another good 1 and a trip shopping in playa del carma is fun,
We did Chichin Itza and glad we did but it is a LONG ASS day. I wouldn't leave TTR for that trip. We had stayed at another resort when we did that so it didn't feel like we missed anything
We are there april 13-20 and plan on renting a golf cart on isla one day. Let us know if your interested.
Just a note to anyone who has not rented a golfcar on Isla before. You have to GIVE them your license for the amount of time you have the car and they give it back to you when you return it. The first time we did this I was scared I wouldn't get it back but it's no problem at all. Just make sure you take your license to the island with you. Cause if you are like me we don't carry stuff like that around with us when we are out and about.
We are there April 7 to 21 and plan on heading over one day. (And this is not to be confused with the trip we will make with the Boobs Cruise). WE will def talk and go from there. :icon_cool:
Does anyone know how much of a price difference it is to buy an excursion like Xplor online in advance as opposed to buying it at the hotel? Just trying to decide if we should plan ahead or just play it by ear.
