Tours from cancun TTR are a pain. Crazy long. And. Believe me. Don't. Once u are there u will get it. No need for excursions. It's way too awesome there. I do reccomend coco bongo. Will blow your mind. Beats anything in Vegas hands down and worth it. Excursions work better If u are in playa Del Carmen. Much closer. Saves u time
We did xplor. But compared to Xel Ha, Xplor was a lot more waiting in lines for stuff. Still fun though.
We go to isla mujeres for the day on our own. The water taxi is a beach walk of 1/2 mile toward the pirate ships. We rent a golf cart for the day and do whatever we want. Lots of options there. Also, scuba diving from the resort is awesome. We enjoyed the jungle tour as well. Just make sure you have your own jet ski each.
