Ok...did not take the time to look into it that closely. Too bad his situation (whatever it is) is not one where he and his wife could enjoy a trip like this together. Again...not judging, but I would not want to go to TTR without my fun sexy wife right next to me.

 

Single or married single guys are great when they are not expecting anything, are respectful and friendly and act like they want to get to know people they might meet while on vacation.

You've already stated in previous posts that you expect to get lucky, asking how to pick up another mans wife is hardly respectful and a blurred picture of your married self doesn't really allude to a friendly and open nature.

Be friendly, post a picture, ask about the resort and the people going the same time as you without sexual overtones. If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck you can hardly blame people for calling it a duck.

Hopefully you have a great time and are pleasantly surprised.

 

I know it is said often to post a picture so that people know you are real. But after reading many other posts, some people just can't. Posting a picture just isn't an option due to some careers. and/or a multitude of other reasons that aren't my business.

As a matter of fact, anyone could go make any picture of a stranger their avatar, and we wouldn't know the difference (see what I did there). I have no reason to keep anything private, so it doesn't matter what I say, or what pictures I put up.

I personally look at the content of people's posts. When posts are limited to 1 or 2 short sentences and they are repeatedly only about sexual topics, then I may steer clear, or only give short reply's myself.

I know that's the story people have but I've never heard of someones employer cruising around a forum dedicated to a topless resort looking for people to fire lol

Maybe I'm being naive but if your job is one that doesn't allow you to live your life as you wish it may be time to find another job. There again Canada is a lot more liberal than the US I suppose.

It is really ironic though that I ask a question about etiquette and get jumped on by people.

We have no expectations of what happens there and are going to just have fun.but I have to say, it seems like a lot of angry people go to Temptation.

As for the picture, not saying anything about what others do, but is is not something I am comfortable doing, and dont think people should get judged for not wanting to expose themselves online.

I get that people troll and there is some sensitivity to it, but I thought Temptation people prided themselves on not being judgemental

 

If you don't want to be exposed online I would recommend to stay off line and especially stay off forums. Anyone a little computer savvy can figure out who you are and where this is coming from, you working in IT should know this. JMHO

No, I just didn't want people to incorrectly label you as a single guy. I have been nothing but nice and helpful in answering your question. Being that you are a newbie I was providing some guidance to the correct forum for your question and asking people to be nice. You take this as angry?

The long time members on here have been conned by trolls in the recent past, and have become super sensitive to posts that ask for stuff sexually without posts that are usually asked, like what are the theme nights, what are the best restaurants,etc. It is best to ask for general questions and then work your way with deeper questions like yours.

 

Quick answer, NO. Not a lot of angry people go to Temptation. In 3 trips I really haven't encountered any.

But to your question about Nikki, and maybe some of the responses you received. There is history of Tolls trying to sabotage the board. So some of the regulars have to keep their guard up and play a bit of detective with a new users post history. This can help from wasting time or getting pulled into a fight with someone who is deliberately trying to bait the members of the forum.

If I understand correctly there was even an instance of someone doing a social experiment on forum for a school project, just trying to fight with people. Steve does his best to keep this type of stuff to a minimum, but I am sure you can imagine how difficult and time consuming that can be. So some of the members just end up being on the defensive side at first.

But I am sure people now can tell you are real, and not looking to bait or fight.
