Does anyone have any experience with the furniture store Estilo in Plaza Infinity on Avenida Nichupté? They say they will make furniture to order or copy an existing design. Seemed very helpful and the prices while not cheap were not outrageous like the cheap (but expensive) garbage they sell in Liverpool and other department stores. Has anyone bought furniture here - what experience did you have?
I brought my grandmother's antiques to Mexico. Then I adopted a street dog, who chewed on said antiques. The I adopted another street dog, who continues to chew on said antiques. I think I'm an idiot. But I used to have some nice furniture. And why do dogs not chew on the furniture that I bought from factory stores? They only like the 150 year old stuff. What is that?
I bought my dining room from Estilo in April of this year, I had no problems. The finish on a couple of chairs had some minor blemishes and they took them back and fixed it and re-delivered within a few days. I found the prices decent for the quality of the furniture. they were very honest. I dealt with the owner Walter and looked at the set while in Cancun. I ordered it by phone from USA and wired him payment in full in advance. I paid 2300 US for a dining table with 8 chairs. all in all a very positive experience and I would go back
