hey, 5 of us are travelling over from Newcastle, England during the American spring break, first time weve been and were wondering if theres anything we must do whilst we're there (nightclubs/bars/places etc). looking to have as much fun as possible so any advice please....thanks, John

Well the Oasis CAncun is the Known party spot for Spring Breakers. Catering to the younger crowd of course. There is a downtown area packed with clubs and bars. The link Apple provided is a good lisating of all of them...On Spring BReak you can't go wrong really. Any place will be packed.. There are also tons of tours you can look into as well. Actually, the area in the link Apple provided isn't downtown...it's Party Central and if you asked anyone who works at your resort what's downtown, they're going to tell you about the bars on Yaxchilan Ave and things in that area. Party Central where al the bars and clubs are is in the hotel zone...downtown is not. Just to precise so no one gets confused and hops in a taxi saying "take me downtown" and be totally confused when they're actually taken downtown. :lol:
Welcome to the boards.. Travel by public bus. It's cheap, and taxi drivers tend to try and make mega bucks from tourist.
