Wow. Our lows are in the mid-upper 60s. We used to live in the panhandle of Idaho about 60 miles south of Canada so we are familiar with the chill of northern climes. I do enjoy the snow but I have to have my sun.

Panhandle of Idaho,...some of the most awesome scenery ever... but cant make a living there...
I HATE cold...hence the trips to Cancun as often as possible

You are so correct about making a living there. We lived in Sandpoint for 14 years. And, yes, the northern Rockies are beautiful and with Schweitzer Mountain and Lake Pen D'Oreille, Sandpoint is an outdoor paradise.

Not up north, we've been enjoying an extended summer! Temps haven't dropped below 22 Celsius (around 70 Fahrenheit)!

I jumped in our pool last Sunday, and thought I was going to die in the 67 degree water.
